I,m not that crazy for the replicants figures because of the amount on flash on the figures. Resin figures don,t seam to mould well and replicants like A call to arms figures don,t give you enough figures to work with, two or 3 poses don,t go a long way in making a diorama. The replicants austrian currassier is SAD!!! looking. Did he steal that horse from a petting zoo pony ride???
You guys should check out the Blackcat miniatures figures. the plastic russians are great with loads of conversion possibities and the metal kits are great also and at a great price also for metal kits and paint up very well to match up with figures like britains and frontline ect.
The metal kits are also very conversion frendly, I,ve converted a lot of them maybe close to a hundred or more already?
I just finnished painting up 40-50 of these with about half of them conversions and have about a dozen or so still on the paint table.
I,ll post some pictures of these in the next couple of days so you guys can check them out.
They cost a bit more then plastics but the quality is much better and if you catch his ebay site and buy a few you can get them for about $5-6 bucks each at times.
He now has prussians and long coat french conversions he did now also and is working on converting his Russian artillary into Prussian artillary.
Check them out! Here,s a link to some of the conversions I did with them and also some shots of Harolds(Blackcat miniatures) all painted up by Harold himself a couple of pages in.
