Holy crap! Best model I've seen in the hobby, bar none!!:salute:: I haven't bought a new Tiger tank since the Honour Bound gold edition around ten years ago, but this one is a must have!

Excellent, price maybe a bit high for me.

Not sure how useful the moveable flaps will be, can see why the moveable track are appealing, but once again how much will it be used? My stuff is in a static display, possible could be displayed at an angle or over rocks etc.

Looks like the best and most interesting tank you’ve made Andy. I look forward to adding it to my collection. It will be the first tank I’ve purchased in several years. I hope down the road you make a similar Sherman.

It looks like a fantastic model. I like the paint/weathering and fine details. The commander figure looks good too. The moving tracks and suspension are a nice touch, but since I don't roll around my tanks it's a feature I can't really take advantage of. However this configuration did result in clean tracks without a bunch of strengthening material filled in them. So the look of the tracks is how I prefer it. I'm sure others will enjoy the moving wheels/tracks although it is not necessary for me. The same goes for the moving flaps. I look forward to seeing photos of the model and may be inclined to get one.

One thing I should have noted is that adding it will be subject to the price, which will probably be expensive.

Tiger 1 looks a winner, there is a lot of speculation on the forum about cost!
How much do people think it will be?

I am curious myself. The Israeli Army Centurion goes for $399 as does the Syrian T-55, more recently released heavy armor. The Vietnam M35A1 Gun Truck is also $399.

Based on this, I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of $425 - $499 being all metal with features and two figures included, but then again we will see.

Plus the videos show just how many Tigers K&C have actually made. Maybe too many? The Kelly's Heroes ones were good because these were 3 Tigers made which could be displayed relatively close to each other to represent a unit.

There are lots of other vehicles which could be focused on but it's a nice looking model for sure.

Just my thoughts!

‘Too many Tigers’…Again, we’re talking about almost 30 years of K&C’s 40 year existence so 19 x Tigers in nearly three decades ain’t in my humble opinion excessive considering how universally popular they are all over the globe and especially in the Far East where we’re based.

As for ‘other vehicles’…Well, in those same thirty years K&C has also produced literally hundreds of other military vehicles including all kinds of trucks, an amazing collection of jeeps, armoured cars, self propelled guns, half tracks, landing craft and even a bloody big tank transporter and a plethora of tanks (small, medium and large) from virtually every fighting nation of WW2 and now post WW2 as well…Not too shabby for a wee toy soldier company based in Hong Kong!

The reason K&C is producing this, our 20th Tiger and, I believe, our best, most original one yet, is because…Tigers SELL and many collectors old and new love that big, ugly, dangerous Cat!!! Me too.

And that’s my two Deutschmarks for what it’s worth,

Thanks Andy, you are the most prominant and open manufacturer on the forum, I do not think people appreciate that enough. Tiger 1s do sell, there is a myth around them, feel it myself, on visits to Bovington, Samur and Munster tank museums i always have a few minutes longer with the Tiger 1, even if it is the StrumTiger at Munster or their 'plastis' Tiger 1. Things that come close to it are the Sherman and for me the Elefant.

On the tracks, can see why you did it, moving the hobby on in terms of quality or offerings is something K & C have always done. Be interesting to see what TFroggers do when displaying the Tiger 1 to show this option. Think it is a better added extra than internal detail, which i cannot see the appeal of as it cannot be seen, only exception to that i would say would be an open rear deck so we can see the engine etc and have a dio of a tank in th repair area, with associated crew etc.

Open hatches is always good, but on the Tiger 1 [and the Panther, Tiger II] no one has the ammo loading hatch open, which would be a useful option.

As it is the early version, will will be seeing a new Desert version? Or perhaps a Kursk Tiger 1?
