Its been since before the holidays that I have posted anything new. Yesterday I received a JG Miniatures #JGS01 Large Oak Tree and thought I would play around with it. This is my second one of this great scenic piece -As you can see they can add a dramatic effect to any set up. I call this series of photos . . . . . .
:) Mike

THE SENTINELS
The Sentinels . . . perhaps the watchful Union Color Guard waiting for orders, or perhaps the old stately oak trees that have provided shade and comfort for the unseen troops resting under their protective boughs?

Mike,

Very nice dio. It is great to see so many different manufacturers pieces together in one display. They work well together. Your photography skills are excellent.

Thank you Randy. I have not gotten any of the ONTC camp scenes yet but am seriously considering getting Hardtack and Coffee, Letters Home, and Wooden Overcoat. Have also considered getting all of the temporary cabin sets.

Thank you for your kind perspective Mark. I still have lots to learn, especially from Ken Osen.

Very nice Mike, great to see you back behind the camera.

Thank you all, Martyn, Louis, and Scott

More excellent set ups Mike. The JG Oak trees will really come in handy when composing new scenes, good addition to your growing collection. By the way, I am building a display for a collector using the ONWTC winter quarters and would recommend them to other collectors too.

Talk to you soon,
Ken

Ken,
Please post a picture before you turn it over to the collector.

Its almost like you are reading my mind Ken. Several times yesterday I thought of "pulling the trigger" to place an order for the ONTC tented cabins and other camp scene sets with the thought of having you design a diorama around them for me - I'll give you a call soon . . .
:) Mike

Beautiful shots Mike, well done...

Excellent scene
Mitch

Thank you Rod and Mitch
