I just added K&C set# BBG 040 entitled "Take Some" to my about 3 by 4 foot sized diorama of the Battle of the Bulge representing the first days of this battle when the Germans had the upper hand. This set's writeup at King & Country's Online web-site notes that this set represents "A Panzergrenadier offers to share some captured U.S. C-Rations with a Volkstrum rifleman" in this two piece set that was issued in 2011. I have placed this set next to K&C's set# BBG 033 issued in 2010 entitled "Cold Feet....Warm Boots" which has a German soldier putting on the boots of a dead U.S Army soldier. I have placed the new BBG 040 set such that the SS Grenadier is offering the captured rations to the German soldier putting on the dead U.S. Army soldier's boots.
The first photo is a close up of K&C set# BBG 040. The second photo shows the immediate area around BBG 040. The next 3 photos show overview sections of the attacking Germams and then the defending Americans. See the 5 photos below. I will post a separate 6th photo to show the left flank of the U.S. Army defences for this diorama.
