I've been a member here since almost the beginning and a moderator until a couple of years back.

However, without going into all the reasons, I think it's time for me to take my leave. It's not the same place it used to be and I just don't post as much and I can't say I care for the direction, which has nothing to do with Peter and Shannon, who are delightful people, or the moderators, who are great individuals.

For those who wish to keep in touch, you can always contact me at my email address.

If possible, please discontinue my membership here. If not, no problems.

Regards,

Brad

I'm sorry to hear you are leaving Brad, I won't waste your time asking you to stay because you sound resolved on this, I hope though at some point you may look in now and again.

All the best

Rob

Brad,

This is "TREEFROGTREASURES" man!!!...you just can't leave once your already in, it's like a gang and there are consequences!!!

When you joined here years ago you could have left with a simple toilet papering, or an egging...but I for one will fly to Jersey and firebomb your mansion if need be^&grin:mad:^&grin

FAREWELL FRIEND!

Markey

I know I speak for Sara as well in saying we appreciate your help and input in our situation. Thank you and God bless.

Brad,

You have given me and many others invaluable advice and help with regard to the hobby.

It would be a crying shame to leave when you can still help others with the hobby on the forum.

So my friend....take a break if you must, but don't leave.

Raymond.

Dear Brad,

I am very sorry to hear that you have decided to leave the Forum; it is hard to contemplate it without your important participation since you have been an integral part of it for so long. I hope that everything is ok in your personal life.

Best wishes,

Sorry to read that Brad, guess I'll be seeing you at the shows. All the best, Andy

I'm sorry for your decision, too, Brad, hope you'll reconsider. Quitting altogether is a little more drastic than perhaps taking time off to do other things for a while.

Prost!
Brad

Brad,

I know what you mean by not the same place as it used to be, but you have the Kings Troop RHA to remind you...:wink2:

Best of luck.

Jeff

Brad,

I know the tenor of the forum has changed, but it would be a shame if you left. And not just because I won't be able to get my pictures posted!:redface2: I will call you to find out what happened.

Hi Brad it has been a pleasure to meet you here on this forum.Without this forum I wouldn't of had the chance to meet and talk to so many people interested in military history. It's a shame you are leaving. Simmo.:(

Brad you where my first i will never forget the moment it was so special for both of us.............................
My first infraction mate it will stay with me forever, but i have your email will keep in touch that way cobber.........................^&grin

Brad, if possible do not leave, that's my wish, besides your being an old respected member of the forum I always enjoy reading your posts and discussing interesting stuff. The forum would be poorer without your voice, that's for sure. If you think it's changed direction I am sure you can still find a lot of positives at this forum and focus on these ones when you come by, clouds do go away (hopefully^&confuse). If possible please don't be so radical:wink2:..

All the best,
Paulo

Brad, as a Toy Soldier Collector you should know that resigning from Treefroger isn't an option!

You can't just stand up and tell your fellow comrades that you're having enough because of the environment.

So get up and re-join the fighting force - NOW! {sm0}

Oliver

There is no reason for anyone to leave here.Just DON'T read the threads that will bother you.You can usually tell the ones by their title that will bother you and if one does start off decent and then degrades stop reading it if things bother you that much.

Brad, your decision, but I hope you reconsider. If not, please stay in touch.

Brad,
Keep posting buddy, don't let the mud stick to you that you don't care for. Life is too short and this is a hobby!

Who the heck am I going to re-fight the Civil War with???

Seriously, its toy soldiers and fun.

TD

Brad

Knowing you as I do I won't even attempt to ask you to reconsider. As you know I too took a break from the forum for almost eight months and you know the reasons why. It did me good and yet when I returned I soon found it was worse than when I took my sabbatical but I learned to ignore the deliberate jibes and baiting comments and simply posted my dio pictures and conversed with the many many good guys on here who are genuinely interested in each others collections and share the same joy I get from my TS's.

Rest assured our many conversations on old Abe Lincoln will continue to be conducted by e-mail as per usual.

Take care Brad I'll be in touch

Bob

Dear Brad:

I agree 100% with Raymond's comments noted just above. Just take a leave of absence and become active again at a later date. Until then thanks for your help and good bye.
