First day sketch, Fur Trade, although at least 6 months away from completion, looks to be one I will be adding to my collection. Robin.

Fur trade and Beaver Wars. Maybe tomorrow will be the Ancients, Jacobites or ACW….my Holy Trinity haha

I love surprises! Grand Master Jean Parisot de Valette is what I'm looking out for. Jacobites would be just lovely.

Genpei War, Wellington in India, Siege of Malta might be our Trinity, but we may buy any cool thing that comes along.

Best Wishes Jas & All!

Thinking about this one, it would be a part of a vignette, perhaps a horse pulling the Travois and someone supervising. Looking forward to seeing what transpires. Robin.

Robin...
I was wondering if this travois was a swap out piece for the maiden riding with 2 babies and a travois...
or maybe it will be offered with it's own horse and rider?

Thats a good idea Mike, it coukd be sold as a swap out piece for the already released travois

Thanks Robin & Mike and, and in advance to others who post JJD Advent Calendar sketches.
Troy also fascinates us now.
Great fur trade fun! I hope to see variety by the end but the 1st 2 look very cool.
Happy Season

It would be nice if you could swap. Then folks could get 1 or 2 horse/rider sets. Just my thinking.
Hope to see Mike's & others' future fur trade dios!
Best Wishes
Paddy

Some more sketches. Robin.
sorry not the best transfer of photos.

I'd like to see Mongol Invaders of Japan and Priam and Helen.
Cool female figures this time. Cute bear cub! You could have a bear family.

So far this year, nothing excites me ......will I just to keep on with 'Wellington in India' next year ..... ????

John

The Queen's Rangers are right up my alley, but I'm still hoping to see John revisit his Peninsular War series.

I'm hoping for the different companies that made up the rangers to be sculpted.
