Advent calandar (2 Viewers)

Any Mongol releases will be exciting.

They will. So who called Mongol bomb-throwers as a big release? Me. And probably lots on Facebook, whatever that is.{sm2}
Everything I asked for JJD has supplied (so far & within reason).
Thanks John.
Paddy

Fur Trade not my thing, although I do have the keel boat, Travois, mounted Indians and a few mountain men but not going big on this. Its clearly popular but I would love to see a bit more variety, and apart from the already mentioned Mongol, not much to get my juices going, so to speak!

But there is still time.

Gary,

thats exactly my thoughts too, much of the sketches are of North American based, but I suppose that the market John is concentrating on these days ????

John

Still liking the Fur Trade. Robin.

I have been following the Advent calender on FB and am happy about the Mongols, Samurai and Vikings. A lot I am not interested in but sure others are. I feel fortunate to be a JJD collector and that John gives us these insights into new figures at the point of inception.

Complete agreement here and you hit the nail on the head!

It's great that you are following the Advent Calendar sketches on the John Jenkins Designs Collectors FB group Jason. 9 more sketches to be posted. I'll be getting the last seven from John tomorrow (Sunday).

Hey Mike,

I look forward to waking up in the morning and going straight to the FB Collectors group to preview John's new sketch of the day.

Thanks for your contribution in making it happen.

It's always nice to look forward to something when you wake up. I'm glad you're enjoying John's sketches. He is very talented in many ways. I received the last 7 sketches this morning. There are some nice surprises for sure.
Mike

I saw the latest sketch of Sitting Bull this morning for the Fur Trade series. Since John is moving the series out of the 1830s and 40s into the latter half of the 19th century, I'm hoping to see some Mounties!

I had the same thought Brendan . . . Does this mean Mounties are in store for the future . . .

Mike

A couple more on my hit list. Robin.

Well John has done it again. Ever since he rolled out his Fur Trade series, I've been bugging him to add some Mounties to it. To say I'm pleased with today's Advent Calendar announcement is an understatement.

Since I receive the sketches in advance, I knew there was a Mounty in our future when I responded to your previous post above. I wanted to keep you in suspense knowing how much you would like this.

Congrats Brendan on getting your wish. This figure looks great and I can't wait to see it when it comes out. The Canadians are definitely under represented in most ranges/series so it will be nice to see if JJ does a whole range of Mounties.

What can I say other than I'm thrilled! I guess I will have to start collecting some of the fur traders for the Mounties to keep in order!

Brendan

With the upcoming fort in the Fur trade series, this will be perfect. Robin.
