Agincourt range! (1 Viewer)

Having purchased the beginnings of a humble castle at the Chicago show, I did ask about this range. The French cavalry seems to be still some time out, but more archers seem to be on their way. These without the archer's stakes ....

P.S.: Do I see a smirk there? :)

If you do - it's because they have successfully avoided mistaken identity. BOTH are wearing a Cross on their tunics - though the guy in the tunic on the right is actually a French man at arms (Jen de Hengest). The British sewed a cross onto their tunics before the battle - to avoid friend fighting friend.

Didn't take into account that some of the French wore a cross as well! - Sneaky!!!

Thanks for the update! I was wondering what happened. It's been 2 years since the last release!

I am still collecting this range. More archers is fine with me but the wooden stakes would be a nice, added feature. Since a French cavalry release is still some time from now, I will save up more funds for when they finally arrive to the scene. Looking forward to it. In the meantime, I guess I will satisfy my glossy side of the hobby with several more sets of ATS's English Civil War range which is the only other range that I am seriously collecting these days.

Just added some French knights to the bloody fields of Agincourt!!! The battle field is pretty crowded - time expand the diorama base!

Beautiful images Zach! The new mounted knights look glorious and evoke powerful feelings. They look even better in your pics than in FL's own. The photo showing all six of the mounted pieces riding off is just gorgeous and would look great on FL's homepage. Thank you for sharing and congrats on the new (and older :wink2:) acquisitions!

Wow! Those are impressive. I am tempted to pickup the lad with the war hammer after seeing these pics.

Thanks guys! If you’re toying with buying anything from this range, you will not be disappointed. They are all fantastic

I thought I would only get one or two, but have started collecting it seriously now.

On another note, has anyone figured out where the second arrow on MED044 French Wounded Knight - Louis du Bois-Bourdon by First Legion goes?

Seems to belong in his arm, but there is no hole. Is it supposed to be glued onto his arm so it is just caught in his maile on his arm?

Beautiful pictures, but i can't see maybe the best figures of the series: the genoese crossbowmen! I have just bought one and is outstanding. Need more!

I am starting to layout a base for my Agincourt charging knights. These are some of my favorite figures in my whole collection:

The main issue is whether to make a permanent base now, or create something bigger.

I don't think it makes a lot of sense to mix the French foot and horse, since they operated at two different times of the battle (which is why you see some of the same knights on their horses and some on foot in the FL line.)

I could do that with the English, but then I would need some for the horse and some for the foot portion of the battery. So, I think I will just keep the charging French chivalry as a center piece. The question is if Matt will release any more or is that it?
