Col. Fellows aligns the 14th Brooklyn with the Emmitsburg turnpike to guard the Union 1st Corps flank near the Herbst Woods.
Slightly customized John Jenkins figures on a 12'' X 12'' scenic base w/ 12'' X 11'' scenic background by W. Britain.

The set up and arrangement of the figures are very nicely done! You made good use of the 12x12 base. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful diorama. Thanks for sharin* the image as i have all these figures but they are boxed up. Seeing them in this image makes me dam happy i have these guys. What greatfigures

Thanks for the likes and comments. :) - Editing note, the caption above the image should read 'Col. Fowler aligns the 14th Brooklyn...'

Very nice diorama, Dragoon! Did you customize the figures yourself or order them? If you did the work yourself, then well done! I like to see more people rework and paint figures themselves.

Prost!

Thanks Brad, - Yes, I will take a brush to figures and also add beards and moustaches with epoxy putty to add some variety. I've made a living as an artist, so I'm quite comfortable with a brush in hand. - Ken

Thanks Steve, - John Jenkins produces some excellent figures making it fun and easy to create interesting displays.

That's an excellent set up Louis.
Thank you! The diorama is by Ken Osen (Hudson & Allen), the figures in the foreground are all of the JJD 14th Brooklyn and 39th New York, and the figures in the background are castings painted by our very talented friend John O'Brien (Obee).

Ken, Louis......love the dioramas. The details are impressive. 👍

Mark,

The credit all belongs to Ken, I just positioned the figures on it. He taught my son how to do the groundwork at his workshop at the Britain's Symposium he holds annually in Gettysburg, and now my son is better at diorama building than I ever was.

Ken certainly has talent, and it's awesome your son is in the hobby. I find diorama building rewarding and I'm sure your son does too. It's a great hobby.

I consider myself very lucky that my son enjoys the same interests and hobbies that I do.
