Ive seen easily better than FURY i will leave it at that so not ruined for others.

Very good movie. I enjoyed it a lot. Its a shame his life ended in the fashion that it did.

Going first chance I get; I just hope I don't read too many spoilers on it, already read one.........

This was probably my remark. Sorry about that George. Didn't mean to give anything away. I just assumed everyone knew this guys story. A few hours after I posted it I wish I hadn't just for that reason.

I didn't get to see it today...had to wait for the cable guy most of the afternoon...playing golf tomorrow...NFL football Sunday...gotta wait til Monday...I was also a little scared to come back to this thread to read posts without spoiler alerts...

Nope, wasn't you Joe, I read his bio a long time ago, so I already knew what happened to him, so no worries.........:wink2:

I see movie did $30M on first day of release in USA.

Have had two people say I can watch their downloaded version but resisting the temptation and will watch on the big screen.

Definitely will watch as my son was a sniper squad leader. Not in combat though, he had two combat tours in Afghanistan, but not as a sniper at that time. There's a new rifle on the market, for the military. The rifle does all the calculations for wind, humidity, distance, etc. And puts the round on target, every time. Any soldier can be a sniper with that weapon. Chris

Chris...for real...no skill involved at all...what is this...a GPS designed bullet?

Mike, correction to what I wrote. Not actually the rifle itself but two improvements will make shots 100% accurate. The first is a scope that automatically adjusts for wind, target motion, etc. The second is a laser guided bullet that makes corrections to the target. Two links:

Sounds like sci-fi come alive. Very similar to that 1984 movie Runaway that had smart bullets in it. Only problem with new tech is eventually it finds it's way to the bad guys. -- Al
