If the world doesn't blow up or the plague gets me I would love to see those ACW battlefields....it's on the bucket list near the top...

Wayne,

My son Alec, my best friend Morgan and I tour them every year. Last year we did Gettysburg, Antietam, South Mountain and Harper's Ferry. Alec and I also did the peninsular battles and Fredericksburg last summer. We are planning a trip to Manasses for sometime in May.

Louis,
While I am eternality grateful for the fact the battlefields here can be counted on one half of your hand, to see and experience the places of which I have read about is something I must do and soon...

If you don't mind company, let me know when you are coming, and my son Alec, Morgan and I will meet up with you.

The "dioramas" section of the forum has become in my opinion the best part of the forum.

I was showing Dad all of your dios and he loves them all but he especially likes this one -
He saw the original movie on vacation in N WI in the late 50's when it was first released. It remains one of his favorite movies. And the scene you show in miniature here is the best part (it is the climax).
A little late on the draw but Dad thought it worth pointing out that you made his day!
Thanks again for all of your great work
Paddy
