Hello Andy! {eek3} How come TOY EAST Company in China, is NOW making WW2 German Werhmacht Figure's and U.S. American army Figure's and they are Selling for ($17.00US Each)? And your Company is Charging us Collectors ($42.00US) Per Figure? Something is wrong in Denmark? Your Vehicle's are way over the Price Limit! You the MAN, why let this Happen? CIAO!

John, I have a great idea, just buy the Toy East figures for $19 and don,t buy the K&C for $42. That is a saving of $23 per figure. Problem solved!
Andy could you please send me a consultants fee for the above customer service.
Gary

Well there is your problem John; K & C is located in China, not Denmark...............

But isn't Nielson a Scandinavian name? There you go. There is something wrong in Sweden -- err Denmark.

On second thought, John is right. Andy if you don,t drop your price from $42 a figure to $19 as John points out. Let us collectors rise and protest, march in the streets and boycott K&C.
We can get those Wall Street protesters to join us since they are against corporate greed.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE (Collectors).
I,m in!
I can hear it now.
"What do we want, $19 figures, When do we want them, now"
I,m starting right now to grow long hair and a beard.

Well John, for one thing you are comparing apples to oranges. King & Country is a high-end niche market collectible company. Toy East is a big box exporter and distributor selling lower price point mass market products and their main products are plush toys and not toy soldiers. Here's how they describe themselves:
We sell over 10k different products. We buy over 100k USD toys monthly. We make our own products. We served over 15000 toys collector members and over 500 dealers over the world.
So if you like their products, add them to your collection. Buy what you like, enjoy what you have and understand that mass production results in lower production costs but that isn't how all companies choose to market and produce.
Best regards,

Shannon,

Don't tell him the truth because he can't......

John,
Andy may set the price of his figures but you make the decision to buy or not.

I look forward to you diorama's with figures from this new brand I have never heard of.

Regards
Brett

Hi Brett

I had a look at them and the quality is no where near as good as K&C. It's like what Shannon at treefrog says, you cannot compare apples to oranges.

John,
Could you do me a favor and post a link to these figures you're talking about as they are not listed on their website, all I see are RC tanks and robots.

So if they have more than one website and I'm missing something, please post a URL so I can see these 19.00 figures that you're so excited about..............

I found it a little hard to find as well but here is the link: http://www.toyeast.com/v3/catproductlist.asp?cat_id=2832&clvl=3

The price point made earlier ($19 v. $42), bottom line, you get what you pay for. IMO, I've seen plastic kits better tooled than this garbage. Great web site, too! Seriously? And 1:24 scale? Sure, that scale will work with most collections...not! These pieces would be great...to blow up with with my K and C Jadgtiger!^&grin

That's actually a pretty good idea- buy them, get out the ol' shotgun, add a little paint+ cotton balls= tank explosion! But actually, their buildings don't look half bad, and tanks could be useful for background stuff, or a large formation. But as always, you get what you pay for!

Why blast Andy and K&C on this one ??? I checked out their web site of this wonder company and their listing of figures is quite small. Then you have the size difference. 1/24 scale means more display room needed. Nice try but I will stick with 1/30 scale King&Country products !!!

I think they will be happy with all the free publicity there getting...............:D
