Hi Guys,

Congratulations first of all to our friend ‘TERP 152’ and his fine rendition of one of the D.DAY Landings in honour and recognition of the great events of June 6, 1944.

At present, I am working on the long-awaited (and much-promised) book on King & Country’s Dioramas & Displays “Every Picture Tells A Story” which I hope will be available later this year.

And so, after seeing our Forum Friend’s work I looked back through the photo files for a few of the photos we shot a couple of years back that followed a similar path onto Omaha Beach on the morning of June 6, 1944.

With best wishes,
Andy

You were never going to be short in finding the items from your vast treasure trove Andy, to reenact a magnificent D-Day landing scene. Certainly does not get better than this. Robin.

Thanks for the kind words Andy. Your display is a beautiful rendition of those momentous events. BTW, I wish I could make those explosions-most realistic.

Impressive Andy. I see a Sherman with fording stacks. Is that the Figarti one or is that something you may be issuing.

Had to browse K&C Normandy yesterday (June 6th). It's all cool.
Thanks Andy.

Hi Brad,
That was indeed our one and only venture into plastic and released quite a few years ago…It’s also a very useful model and accessory for D.Day dioramas and displays like this one.
Best personal wishes,
Andy.
