Absolutely love the GI Tank Crew-might have to get two of those sets! Thank you K&C.

To The Hangar,

The 88mm Flak 18 looks great, with a cool set of figures to go along with it.. Must Buy:cool:

Some nice new figure sets there also :D Definetly on the list the Rescue and Alive and Dead, great to see some new casualty figures,I like that the german dead guy is a seperate figure to the american:D:D

Nice new set of releases:)

$239 for the 88mm Flak 18:eek:

Like the weathered looking paint job on the panzer as well

Absolutely love the Flak halftrack (can never get the name of that thing straight in my head but I've been wanting one for a while now after wrecking havoc with a similar vehicle in the Forgotten hope mod of Battlefield 1942). It's a monster and best of all the crew looks to be outfitted with correct Wehrmacht camo, not a fantasy mix of Wehrmacht and SS. The guy with the rangefinder and smoking the pipe are nice touches. Notice the greyhound on the fender marking it as part of 116th Panzer Division, same unit as the WS 087 motorcycle.

The Big Red One guys look well done too - not sure how many I'll get of them, but the poses are finally all new and fresh, and uniforms and equipment look accurate as usual for K&C US releases. For those who are wondering these guys work best for the Normandy campaign post D-Day up until about late Sept. 1944.

Only minor annoying quibble at first glance is the advertising claiming that the Panzer 1 F can work for early war in 1940 or Barbarossa when it was not even manufactured until 1942.

Oh yeah like these.:) Got to have the Big Red 1 figures, and especially the Tank crew. This is cool because many including myself have been asking for these so thanks Andy.I also will get a Sherman or two, with the extra crew this will be a dio in the making. The Flak gun will also be on the list, all in all a very good dispatch for me,and no WW2 retirements!

One happy collecting bunny

Rob

I am so happy ... that the WWII guys are happy. Meanwhile, the Russian Guards & Hessians should keep me satisfied until the next Dispatch.

Can anybody suggest why only one of the Scots Grey (perhaps the most slow moving one) and a couple each of the French NAP infantry & AWI Continentals are being retired. Isn't it usual for the entire line to go ?

Does this mean that the line is being continued ... and will see the release of new sculpts ? If so, I can hardly wait for these reinforcements.

Rob,

What's your opinion of the separate equipment provided with the new Sherman? I think its a great idea and gives us a chance to personalise our vehicles to a certain extent. I hope its a trend that continues.

Cheers

I see in the dispatch release planned production of the 88 is 750
Kind of puts the acid on to make a quick decision

Spot on Harry,i think this is a great idea. With the seperate equip and spare crew it does personalise things and i can see me buying a couple of these Shermans and trying my hand at Normandy dio.

I,d say thats a wise decision if its a model your after , Imagine the
broo ha ha if it sells out quick. The postage on us unfortunates
without a local shop is going to be a killer.

Great the new 88 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the big red one . for tunis italy and france .

richard :):):)

A not to wrong Panzer I Ausf F, a big 88 mm issued in realistic limited numbers and a bunch of Big Red 1 figures that several of us suggested. And no WWII retirements. How good can it get :D

Heck, I'm almost as excited about this dispatch as Rob. I'll have to hand in my Curmudgeon Club badge if Andy keeps this up

Good to have you aboard the 'Wildly over the top club' Oz :D;)

Couldn't agree more about the Big Red 1 figs.So am i guessing that they didn't land on D Day itself but shortly after?

Rob

Definitely getting 2 Shermans, movable equipment looks great for different configurations:).

88 Looks great and that is a lot of figures, so the price not too bad, also limited production, so all in all pretty fair.

Sherman looks real nice, but not sure I love the price, maybe I am in the minority, but seems bare (even with removable equipment). Am I missing something here?

Same basic comments for the Panzer 1.

Not being cheap as I spend a ton on this stuff as it is, but also not liking the pricing trend on some vehicles sets as of late especially when they are the same types of tanks, just different theaters, etc. I have a lot more "choices" than must buys as of late.

This is one of those they call "edition in limited supply" as opposed to limited edition although you wonder why it wasn't so called.

I can see many a thread in our future about people not getting this and then having to pay a hefty ebay price for it.

I guess no Horch for now. Bummer. I was all psyched up for that.

Be pretty cool if the flak gun lifts out as well , like the hummel gun does:cool:
