Hi Sammy,
Your idea is excellent{bravo}}: I'll copy and I too will post only one thread Napoleonics my photos ....
To start "some old shots!" "color existed in the 19th century!" ^&grin^&grin^&grin
Guy.

First empire, I allowed myself a "little madness" of a scene into how improbable or rewrite history ......!
"Emperor infantry defended position after pushing the enemy out of the English castle farm commonly called Hougoumont ...."

Ney leads the cavalry charge

Hi Guy ,
Great all the way around {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}} I have often wondered WHAT IF things had been different at Waterloo .. The Ney figure is one of the 10 First Legion figures I own just GREAT ... Regards Gebhard

I really enjoy the black and white photos, looks like some actual battle pics taken from a book, superb work, thanks for posting Art...Sammy

Russian campaign (1812) - retired .....
Napoleon, "the beginning of the end.
November 7, when they reached Smolensk, a new enemy appeared, the famous "General Winter", which arrived well in advance and make matters worse, would prove to be the coldest yet seen in Russia for over a century.
The temperature drops to -22 degrees and the ground is covered with snow.
After using the scorched earth policy, the Russians employed a strategy of guerrilla warfare.
Harassed by the Cossacks, but also by other "enemies" unexpected ...... many units isolated, weakened, hungry .... never saw the France .......Guy.

Those are some very nice dio's and pic's. Also some Awsome looking figures, I started little by little
Picking up some 18th infantry line I plan on completing it, but thats as far as it goes must have control.

A new and brilliant take on the French forces in the bitter cold of the Russian winter. Very novel . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Hi all,
one more "adventures" with my toy soldiers :wink2:
"after the battle in the park of the castle ..." (no relation to the story, just for "fun")
Guy.:salute::

Very nice work as usual Guy!

Just curious: what is the castle in the background? It looks like the "château de Blois" in France with its exterior circular staircase but I know it is not. Merci !
