Hi Guys,

We just received our first few samples of Australian M113’s for K&C’s ‘Aussies in Vietnam’ range.

So, we set up a few of them and took some photos. Here is the first one.
Hope you like them.

All the best,
Andy

Andy,

I see different numbers on the vehicles, so does that mean a few different vehicles to collect?

Or some work for someone like me to change the numbers????

Andy mate,
Absolutely outstanding cobber. Just returned home from Dinner at the Pub with some Adelaide collectors and this has made my night. Three M113 together 22, 22A and 22B. The second section of 2 Troop, "B' Sqn, 3 Cav Regt. Cannot wait to put 13 on a dio to make up a full Troop.

Many thanks for the great photo. Cheers Howard:salute::

These look great! Vietnam collectors should be thrilled. One question though ... in the Australian army, do mechanized infantry wear black berets? I noticed a couple of the figures wearing them.

Cheers,

Brendan

Hi Brendan,
I don't think the Australian infantry wore black berets...But the 'tankies' (Royal Australian Armoured Corps) certainly did!
All the best,
Andy.

Howard, it's great to see someone so passionate about something. I will buy one M113, that is if there are any left over. Regards Greg.

Same here. Biggest problem is what call sign to pick^&confuse. Robin.

The US version should be right around the bend!

Rich mate,
I am sure the U.S. version is not far away cobber, and also an Israeli version. I will certainly purchased both these versions.

Cheers Howard

These look brilliant got a diorama in mind and it's good to see some Aussie stuff for Vietnam at last been a tonne of US releases lately.
Now who will be first to release some "Phantoms of the jungle" the VC feared them the most.

Looking forward to those and will buy the Aussie version just because I like your country! I wonder if Andy will offer a few different markings so a convoy would look more realistic.

Looking forward to the US limited edition to complement my US Marines. It would be great if the rear door could be opened to display the interior. Wonder if there are differences between the versions of the different countries.

The M113's look great as do those Aussie tank riders...such wonderful creations Andy.

Thank you,
Joe

I agree Chris it would be great if the rear door opened and there was a full interior detail too...

BUT it would also dramatically increase the production cost, lengthen the development time AND...GREATLY INCREASE the retail price to the collector!!!

On the plus side...There will be notable differences between the Aussie M113 and the 'follow up' American and Israeli versions.
Best wishes,
Andy.

A patrol hopes for the backup of a M113 soon as the VC are closing in.{eek3}Robin.

As mine will hoping too Robin. Though I believe most will be stationed not at Nui Dat, but at Howards house {sm4}{sm4}{sm4}
