Awaiting my new 262 (1 Viewer)

Nice dio I may have a go at something similar
Mitch

Very nicely done Gordon, or Andy :D

Would have gone well with the skirmishes we saw the last day or two here :eek: :D

should put Goering in this dio, with the classic quote -
"If any any Allied plane bombs Berlin, you may call me Meyer"

That is quite the collection you have there Wayne. The 262 is going to look good on that setup.

Thanks all for the comments can't wait to set it up all properly,Still waiting...................:(

I got one mate but it is a tail sitter i dont think it matters it is a cracker of a model you will be well pleased when you get it:salute:::salute::

I know its a great model, I held a "tail sitter" at my local dealer, but would rather have one that sits correctly. It looks so cool when it stands with its tail in the air. I talked to Shannon and have ordered one from the Frog with special instructions for a non "tail sitter". Hopefully I'll have it soon.

Wayne, that is a fantastic looking setup. I am very impressed with the collection and the way you have it displayed with the searchlight, posters, figures, vehicles. Excellent. That is very similar to the kind of look I am hoping to eventually achieve with my RAF collection, and you have certainly given me new inspiration.

My "non tipping" 262 should arrive by the end of the week, thanks to Treefrog.:smile2:

I am sure the "usual suspects" might shoot this down, but is it possible to place a weight inside the forward wheel doors to fix the tail sitters.?..Michael

Or do like Wayne and nail it to it's perch (wire connection to the tow cart) ^&grin^&grin

I don't collect these, but the assortment of figures from different sets really makes for a great looking dio.

:salute::
