I was going to wait until the new diorama I am working on is finished, but couldn't wait to show off my new custom built veggie plot for my AWI display.

Although my figures are K&C, the veggie plot is based loosely on the W.Britains plank style fencing I am using around my farmhouse.

Hope you guys like it!

Wow{bravo}}! That looks like it was done by Mr. Osen himself! Can't wait to see this diorama!

Very nicely done. Several times I have suggested to the folks at W. Britian to make more accessories to their 18th/19th century farm buildings, such as animals and crops. Although they have made corn rows and hay mounds it would be nice to see other "kitchen" vegetables/crops and "barn yard" animals and "grazing" stock. You are certainly being successful at filling this void inyour own way. Kuddos Sir . . .

That is quite innovative and extremely well executed-Very impressive

But take heed as I just may send over a few of my Rebs to go a foragin' as these last few months they have survived on just chewin' corn stalks :smile2:

Excellent and inspirational work.

I do like it indeed! You should be rightly proud of your efforts, as this little plot looks great.

This looks great! It might be more of an 1860s garden than Rev-War era. The recreated 17th and 18th century gardens in new England tend to be fenced in with wattle type fences in a era when sawn (sawed) boards were expensive and hard to make w/o power. A high fence might keep preditors out but a lower fence is easier to work your tools around and allows more sunlight.

That is one beautiful piece of work!! Well done, sir. Like Mike already stated, we need more scenics like this for our displays. Too bad Britains hasn't issued any more accessories along these lines. I hope they do real soon, though.

I think after seeing the reaction to this they will be making them.Excellent artistry.

Thanks everyone, this was made by Smallwondersmodelmakers, who also made the farmhouse for me.

When money permits, I've got a few other ideas for them to bring to life!
