Hi Mike ,
Now that is impressive and both beautifully displayed and photographed {bravo}} , and of course the quality of First Legions products speak for themselves . IMO nothing beats formations in mass whether it be French Line or in this case 5th Foot Grenadier Company :wink2: Thanks for sharing with us .. All the best Gebhard

Thank you Gebhard and I agree . . . . mass formations all the way . . .

this really is an excellent display. Can t wait to see what comes next in this line.

Thank you Iwan and Walt . . . . Taking a break from fall yard work . . . . Thought I would show some more photos as you both have requested . . .

Led by the Grenadier Company, the 5th Regiment of Foot (The Shiners) march down a country road by platoon. The Colonel's Company and Colours are next in line . . .

Mike, the scene you created for these photos is truly wonderful, as is quite visible in the overhead shot. It is laid out extremely well. I love the cornfield you created. I have a few of those stalks but not enough to create something that nice! And the column marching down the road...it just all comes together so well.

Thanks Dan . . . here are two more "aerial" photos of the Grenadiers on the march . . . notice the distance between the two platoons . . . . from what I have gleaned in my research, it is my understanding that 6 paces were required between each platoon in column . . . .
:) Mike

Mike, excellent dio! Great camera angles. These scenes just begs for some colonial snipers.

Mike, as others have said, excellent job on these new pics! As always, you create such simple, yet interesting dios. I mean, the marching platoon is a very basic formation, but your set up makes it compelling nontheless. Thanks for posting these!
