Was a fantastic day,this is short cos i'm knackered proper report tommorow.

Big thanks to Andy,MikeTony,Bob and all the K&C crew for chatting to me and giving us a great day.

Mr Gambale there are blackshirts coming,there is also a MK1 Tank for EA a Storch plane,and a superb Gestapo car with Gestapo men and French resistance prisoner .Mk2 panzer (with the blackshirts)

Charge of the light brigade looks suuuuuuuuuperb,AND PARAS!!!.
What more could we want.

Great To meet Easy and Kevin.Hope to see you again.Our campaign paid of didn't it chaps!!!

Simon,i caved and bought the M10 and Bulge prisoners and a supply dump.Love the M10 its really good.

Yep,

I was dead chuffed with it. I'm no expert on K&C vehicles, but the detail has come on nicely. Just waiting for some BoB figures to accompany it, to arrive.

Sounds like quite an interesting year next year. Anybody take pictures that you can post. Would love to see what the Light Brigade looks like. Are they matte or glossy? 54 or 60?

Did K & C have prototypes of the other vehicles? the Storch?

Did Andy give out release dates?

So, I suppose there is going to be an EA and probably AK releases next year.
 
Andy had photos of the Storch.As far as i know all figures 1/30.British paras hopefully(?)launched at military odyssey in kent in August.Light brigade matt i think,only had unpainted models.Could be launched June-ish.Yep should be both EA/AK release 2007.Was so good to talk to Andy he very kindly answered lots of questions and revealed lots of his thinking.He told me he'd done enough U.S Paras for a while.

There were also some excellant mounted troops on camels!(4)but to be honest im not sure if they were AK or EA?.

I couldn't be more excited about the Storch! I knew it was coming, but now that it has officially been mentioned, I can finally talk about it. Rommel's Storch is the beginning of the re-launch of K&C Warbirds. From what I have been told, the detail is supurb, and there will be clear canopies and interior cockpit detail on these new planes sufficient to please those seeking absolute realism, but with the wonderful wood construction that K&C warbird lovers have grown to cherish.

I am sure John will be thrilled about his Blackshirts (as, to tell the truth, am I - anything North Africa is O.K. with me). A Panzer Mk1 and MK2 for the Afrika Corps also sounds fantastic.

The Gestapo car with the French Resistance prisoner sounds amazing. It would fit really well with some other French resistance and OSS men, maybe even a Lysander bringing the OSS men in!

I also knew the British Paras were coming, and I am glad the squeeky wheels will finally get their grease.

As far as the Crimean war stuff, I kind of suspected, after hearing Andy talk about how overcome he was when Frontline did their Charge of the Light Brigade, that Andy wanted to take a crack at it.

Somebody post some pictures please, before we all explode with anticipation!
 
Sorry louis i may have misled you.MK 1 Britsh tank for EA in colours similar to Matilda.And i think the AK Mk2 will come with some black shirts

:) Hello ROB! I'm Greatly appreciable, that Andy is making the Italian ( BlackShirts)? Also, you have mentioned MORE EA/AK; is this Include an Awesome, ( DAK FIGHTING iNFANTRY), and, What about Armor and Artillery, for both N.Africa Sets? And also, "Arnhem " Series? OOWAH!
 
John,There was a pic of the storch with the mk2 behind it.Andy said the tank would have some blackshirts with it.He didn't say anything about other AK troops but you never know.Can't wait for the launch of the Paras next year!

Hey Rob, congrats on the paras, thanks for the report and enjoy that M10, it's a beaut ain't it! Start saving up those pounds, I having feeling Andy is going to be knicking quite a few of them away from you next year, but why should next year be any different!:D

Wait a minute did I read ACW will be rolled out again next year? Details, what size, gloss or matt, and when. I must know because after the Napoleonic Wars, ACW is my favorite.

Those would probably be Vichy French for North Africa.
 
Andy had intimated us awhile ago it would be the Fiesler Storch if he could get the factories to make it and based on what I'd heard, he had found those factories. We're hoping that this will be available Symposium time next year.

Andy had also mentioned to me that he was toying with the Paras but mum was the word so that is good news. If it's Arnhem revisited, there may be buildings and updates on the vehicles.

I find it interesting (for lack of a better word) that we find out officially about Arnhem on the same day we find out about Light Brigade because it was Frontline's unveiling of the Charge of the Light Brigade at Chicago that led to Andy's focusing on a theme, that theme being Arnhem.
 
Well I was nearly speechless after reading all that... and WW1? I cannot wait to see some WW1 coming from K&C, I dont even want to think about it.
 
It's great the detailed Storch has been confirmed and I can't wait for the limited edition with a Rommel figure plus perhaps his personal (non-armoured) vehicle :) The SS vehicle with resistance prisoner is a pleasant surprise for LAH collectors like me.
 
Ahhhhh... a Fieseller Storch finally! With clear canopies and detailed interior. I am thrilled to the max! Can't wait for 2007. Will it be in AK or Wehrmacht colors? Maybe a U.S. Army L4 Grasshopper spotter plane for the BoB troops is in the offing? Andy? Yes?No? Maybe? Please respond to keep the hope alive.

I know it will be in AK colors initially with the possibility for a Wehrmacht version.
