Louis I could use some support troops from Trophy and Zulus to keep them busy....The Lt.

Lt.,

I have some Imperial Zulus and the three box set "The Hero's of Roarke's Drift" if you want them. I just have to find them and pull them out. All the Trophy stuff was already given to my good buddy Hans.

I actually started the sorting process over the weekend. I pulled out about 5 sets of K&C, some wonderful Tommy Atkins Jacobites, including a Highlander dancing while a second played the fiddle, and a couple of other Highland related items by other makers, all of which went out on display.

I also pulled out all of my old matt Frontline Civil War (about 30 sets, including Gun Teams, horse drawn Caissons, the fence set, and the Confederate Leaders [Lee, Jackson, Longstreet and Stuart] around the map table with camp chairs and the two Aides de Camp, as well as complete groupings of Union Infantry, Confederete Infantry, Union Fire Zoaves and Louisiana Tiger Zoaves) all of which are being gifted to my wonderful 10 year old nephew Benjamin, who spent his allowance on a gift for Alec, and who is presently studying the Civil War in grade school.

I bet your nephew will be rapt ,You could be providing the makings of a future collector .The tommy Atkins stuff sounds realy nice ,I know
thier was a discussion on another thread about their work so if you
et a chance it would be great to see some shots of your expanding museum.
cheers Rob

I'll take some shots of the Tommy Atkins Jacobites tomorrow. They are really special, some of the nicest glossy figures I've ever seen. If you can get them, I really couldn't recommend them more highly.

Thanks Louis , I have nearly taken the plunge on them a couple of times
as my collection has always had a fairly strong Scottish regiments theme,

I should realy stop reading this forum as it would save me a fortune,
To think I used to be blissfully unaware of king and country and a number
of other brands before I discovered this forum.
aaah those where the good old days :)
cheers Rob

Thanks for posting the pic,
They realy do look great, I think I will
take the plunge on these as i,ve got
nothing covering that era in my collection.
[and any excuse to buy more toy soldiers sounds feasible in my mind]
cheers Rob

Wow! Thank you for sharing those. It is a bit of a humbling experience, but mostly it is nice to see that somebody has made fabulous NWF/Afghanistan, and Sudan/Egypt figures that I previously only imagined or wished existed. Thanks again.

Dave,

It is an amazing collection. I don't believe this photo spread shows the planes, which I can get you the link for if you're interested.

I pulled up the thread about the K&C book, which contains a bunch of great photographs taken by Kevin Elliott (Panda1gen), who is a far better photographer than I.

That is one heck of a rare collection it would probably take couple of years for me to have my collection to be really really big.

Here are the Tommy Atkins Jacobites,

Ah,lovely, one of my fav pics on the forum. Thanks to sv288 for bringing it to the fore.Grand to see the fiddler & Dancer set again (I've yet to replace mine)and quite possibly worth mentioning that these are F&IW era -believe the fiddler was inspired by the Robt. Griffing painting,Royal Blue facings, therefore post-Fort Carillon Black Watch.I need hardly reiterate that Tommy Atkins Jacobite Rebellion Highlanders are the dearest and most splendid model soldier figures-bar none-in the world to me.It's often come to me to post pics of my modest collection, alas the shots taken with my cell are too "impressionistic"and the meagre toy soldier budget (and greed) allow for no camera purchase  btw Fusilier Miniatures website is showing some welcome and intriguing new listings for this range. I salute the Louis Badolato Museum Collection, Your Good Health,Gentlemen,Sir Digby

If you love Jacobites as much as I do Sir Digby, check out the John Jenkins Designs section of the forum, he has just produced some of the most incredible Culloden figures imaginable.:cool::cool::cool::cool:

Thank you Louis for the pictures of your nice collection and early K&C figures and vehicles. Thanks Brad for sizing and posting the pictures. I enjoy viewing them and will look at these pictures often. John

This is from the first one with the refurbished attic. Some great pieces here. When Andy saw it, I recall him saying something that it was like looking at his life.

I don't know if any of you got over to Lawrence's apartment to see his collection but he too has an equally amazing collection. Toysoldiersusa.com has several photos of Lawrence's collection.

A stunning collection. Thank you for highlighting this past thread. The Dickens figures are the one set I truly regret not having since I started collecting in 2004. I've only seen the buidlings on eBay once. They look stunning.

Great pics Brd...Louis...great collection...i especially love your Vietnam sets...Hong Kong sets...Nile Gunboat and Roman Fort...
