Bargain (1 Viewer)

That's hard to believe for something you can get that for free if you buy King and Country junk.

Edit: Sorry, I meant to say it's free when you buy the lovely and really well made Chinese Junk from King and Country ^&grin

Hi,

Since you guys are talking about my auction, i am here to say have at it. If you want it for free, feel free to buy the required amount from K&C Hong Kong and get one. I now have 2 since I did that and am in attendance in Chicago. As always, I am happy to trade it to any of my collector friends, but until an offer from some one to do that, I figure I would get rid of it and reinvest in other areas of my collection since I don't need 2.

Generally speaking, since I own the figure, I am within my rights to sell it or trade it in any manner I see fit. Something that I think is lost on this board is that right. While I may not agree with hoarding 10 items and selling them on ebay, I don't necessarily see this as the case with my show figure.

If anyone would like to discuss my generosity to fellow collectors, I am happy to do so.

Additionally, there is no intent of this post to be defensive, argumentative, etc. I am just an upfront person and believe if there is no need for innuendo, if you want to discuss something, let's do it in a straightforward manner, I have nothing to hide!

Tom, if you read my recent posts regarding resellers you will find that I don't care who sells what or for how much. I was just surprised at the price for such a recent issue, good luck with your auction anyway. As for hoarding ten items and reselling them, again not a concern for me but I understand such actions may upset interested parties.

Hi Gents,

Tom is a respected member here as well as on ebay and I would hope that folks see this as an opportunity for someone who isnt able to be in Chicago to get an item for a decent price. I have bought items from Tom and have never found his prices unfair so please keep the discussion civil.

I've done a few trades wit Tom and purchased a few older pieces from him for my collection. He has been fair and flexible on price. I'm sure he could have gotten more than I paid him. So he's not a gouger out for the last penny.

So when he is fortunate to get 2 of the show figures - one by attending the dinner and one by spending $250 with K&C, then he can do what he wants with them. He's not trying to corner the market. His sale on ebay is in the open under his name and if someone thinks it's worth buying, then so be it. It takes a willing buyer to make a sale.

I have also purchased an item off ebay from Tom and found his price to be fair and reasonable.

I wasn't having a go at you either like you said its yours to do with what ever you like and i hope you get a great price for it.
Just as long as its a even playing field i remember someone else being crucified not to long ago for flogging some items on ebay, they where his to do what ever he liked as well.

I can confirm Tom is a very generous collector who would be very considerate at reducing his eBay price should another fellow collector want one of these Hospitaller figure's...I'm 110 % positive he wouldn't hesitate in offering the figure at a reduced price, if you really wanted it! So if he has it listed for one price all you have to do is send him a note asking for a lower price. I know him this well!

Tom you have my permission to bill me for the difference should I be wrong about you:rolleyes:

Tom is a great seller on & off ebay. I may even bid on something else he has :smile2:. While the price is a stretch, I wish him luck in selling it- who knows?
Good luck,
Sandor

Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won.
