The book "Battle Cry" is exponentially better than the movie.

No offence Martyn, but the dialogue is really hackneyed, voice over is awful and there is a bar room brawl that is hilarious in its naff-ness. Some old films really stand the test of time 'Red Badge of Courage' ' 12 Angry Men ' etc , but some try just too hard. But then again it was a rainy afternoon and any War film is enjoyable on a day like that!:wink2:
