Re: battle for arnhem....

Are those Panzer IIs? I do not recognize them. Are they repaints?

Re: battle for arnhem....

Kind of. They are the NMA Lynx's. Not repaints, but the Summer camo version -green/yellow and urban camo -red/yellow.

Cool! I have one on the way from the UK. On the extremely slow boat though. I am excited to see it there.

Re: battle for arnhem....

British reinforcements are on the way but for now........

The preliminary to the Airborne drop at Arnhem included several raids by low level mosquito and other aircraft on pinpoint targets such as barracks..........

Re: battle for arnhem....

But airpower was of limited use when heavy armour was in close proximity to the paras, and in any event, the Germans frequently had local air superiority due to the weather..............

Re: battle for arnhem....

Yes but still trying to trade for the rest.....

Hope the trade works out in your favor for it sure looks like the para's can use all the help they can get to defend the bridge. Once again another great photo Kevin........The Lt.

Re: battle for arnhem....

The Germans were able to build up more forces near the 1st Airborne drop zones, faster than the paras could land reinforcements...............
