It is good to be back. I am happy to announce I am engaged to a wonderful lady, who supports what we do at Battle Scene Productions. It has been one hell of a year and a half since divorce. Looking forward to buying a new home with my eventual new wife, where BSP can have the space it used to have, so we can begin to push the envelope further. We lost a little steam over the past months, but we are ready to rock again. Nick has been producing unbelievable work, which we have not yet shown, and I continue to work with new terrain ideas, unique themes and photographic techniques. I can't believe the amount of projects we have had the privledge to do, for various manufacturers, in the past two years, and we are looking forward to many more. Alex

Thanks a lot, check out the rest on our Web Site in a few days. You are the one who started me in this madness. I have not had the time to be out here like I used too, but I saw some stuff you did a short while back, and it looked very cool. We just put a Color Frontline ACW shot on our home page, the Gallery shots will follow. Alex

Union Officers planning for battle, done by BATTLE SCENE PRODUCTIONS for for FRONTLINE FIGURES. This was a very unique set up, Nick and I enjoyed the change of pace in creating this one. Alex

Outstanding piece of work! You have perfectly captured a historical meeting of the war.
May 1864 Spotsylvania VA.
Grant and Meade had the pews pulled out of Massaponax Baptist Church and held a strategy meeting on the church grounds. Photographer Timothy O'Sullivan captured that meeting on glass plates and developed into a photo that he entitled "Council of War at Massaponax Church"

An amusing side-bar to this meeting and accurately depicted by your marching troops in the background of your dio: Bumbling Ambrose Burnside, noticing two Southern ladies watching stony-faced the passing masses of Union soldiers, rode up to them. Removing his hat he made an exaggerated bow and conversationally enquired as to whether the ladies had ever seen so many Yankee soldiers before.
One of the women snapped back
"Not at liberty, sir! However, we do look forward to their return-running back North"
Tough old birds those Daughters of the South.

Alex I am most impressed and doff my old gray kepi to yours and Nick's skill- simply superb and you could be in danger of turning the ACW into a popular era here on Tree Frog-Holy Cow!:eek::eek::eek::eek: Now wouldn't that be something!;)

We do our research, to honor all of those who serve. I am happy to see one as knowledgeable as your self can appreciate the effort we put in. We will accept criticism as well, if we get something wrong. We are not about the toys, as much as we are about honoring those who serve. And we thank the Sponsors who assist us in our efforts. Thanks FRONTLINE FIGURES for your support. Alex

Frontline do some great civilian figures from a number of eras. I am sure you could find some suitable ones to add to complete that little vingette. A great piece of work all round. Thank you for posting it.

Very nice indeed. I like the way you captured the moment (I was just looking at it along with the war-time photo of the meeting), plus added a lot of background interest with the band, horses, etc. Love your work.

We have about 10 more shots which will be in our Frontline Figures Gallery soon. Alex
