Hi guys,

What would be a reasonably price to pay for this item ?

thanks

It is still available at $139 I think. if the winter version is no longer available ,then buy the normal version and weather it into a winter ambulance . very easy to do !!

Unless it would bother you not having the winter versions box etc why not just buy the summer version and winterise it???
Mitch

It's a pity you're at the other side of the Atlantic, otherwise I would gladly winterise the summer version for you.

Don't pay more than $160{eek3}....You can live without it rest assured...Just buy the summer version....Just as good and you can winterize it slightly....Save your hard earned money for other purchases....Best Vezzolf

All this talk of weathering - i reckon there's a sizeable group of people like myself who wouldn't dream of altering a K&C model - for any number of reasons - maybe skill, maybe lack of time maybe just because they prefer to keep it in it's original vision.

I know i'm the type that yes you could weather it yourself but knowing it's not the original winterised version would eat away at my brain! :smile2:

Well, It's better to weather this model than getting taken for a ride by the "speculators".^&cool...These are simply models not sacred cows...{sm4}

My point still stands - yes it's expensive and I wouldnt buy it at that price $300 but i would still not weather an expensive model - i'd prefer to wait till i can find the original for a good price.
Like in many things the thrill is in the chase. ^&grin

Thats it exactly i waited 2 years to get the whole Figarti V1 range half the fun was the hunt and i got it at a great price.

For me there's "No Fun" in the "chase"....Simply obsessing over a product and searching and then over-paying becuase it's "retired".....No Way:rolleyes2:.....Would rather move on to something else. There are always new products comming around the bend.....My advise to this forum member "still stands"...Buy the Summer Version for $139...IMO the smarter move.

I agree mate i got the V1 at a great price wouldn't pay huge amounts for a retired item,that was the fun in the chase.Yeah i wouldn't pay heaps for this piece as there is a summer one freely available.

there really is not that much difference in the two versions, so go with the summer

I have seen weathered and repainted versions of lots of figurines, AFVs and tanks that looked much better than the original ones. A good repaint can be worth a lot of money because then you have something unique.I do it all the time, not for the money but to adapt a model for use in my dios( the original models are too neat to be put in a battle-field dio) and also sometimes to give them the right colour. ( equipment especially not always has the right colour)
