It is still available at $139 I think. if the winter version is no longer available ,then buy the normal version and weather it into a winter ambulance . very easy to do !!

Don't pay more than $160{eek3}....You can live without it rest assured...Just buy the summer version....Just as good and you can winterize it slightly....Save your hard earned money for other purchases....Best Vezzolf
All this talk of weathering - i reckon there's a sizeable group of people like myself who wouldn't dream of altering a K&C model - for any number of reasons - maybe skill, maybe lack of time maybe just because they prefer to keep it in it's original vision.
I know i'm the type that yes you could weather it yourself but knowing it's not the original winterised version would eat away at my brain! :smile2:
Well, It's better to weather this model than getting taken for a ride by the "speculators".^&cool...These are simply models not sacred cows...{sm4}
My point still stands - yes it's expensive and I wouldnt buy it at that price $300 but i would still not weather an expensive model - i'd prefer to wait till i can find the original for a good price.
Like in many things the thrill is in the chase. ^&grin
For me there's "No Fun" in the "chase"....Simply obsessing over a product and searching and then over-paying becuase it's "retired".....No Way:rolleyes2:.....Would rather move on to something else. There are always new products comming around the bend.....My advise to this forum member "still stands"...Buy the Summer Version for $139...IMO the smarter move.

there really is not that much difference in the two versions, so go with the summer
