I was able to get the winter version just before they completely vanished.I use it as seen here for a Battle of the Bulge display. As you can see the winter version has a small amount of "Winter Weathering" applied .

After looking at these getting one weathered would look ok and original im sure thats all K+C have done.....{sm4}

Thats a very simple bit of dry brushing and, the money one saves would get you more sets!!!!

How do you paint with a dry brush....................{sm2}

Its a painting term where you apply paint to the brush and then remove nearly all of it with a cloth etc then paint the subject. Its how you weather a AFV along seem lines turret hatches etc. There is so little paint on the brush thats why it was given the name dry brushing

I got the set in almost new condition with box for retail price..so no painting is required..^&grin.....quite happy about it.
