King and Country BBG117 Wolf in Sheep's Clothing #2. Here is your chance to obtain a brand new product - before it is officially released!!! This is a sample of an upcoming release and is not yet available to the general public - Except right here - for YOU!!! IF you are the winning bidder.
This outstanding model portrays a SdKfz. 251 German Halftrack of Kampfgruppe 150, Otto Skorzeny's deceptive Operation Greif, during the Battle of the Bulge. Due to the lack of captured American vehicles, some German tanks and other armoured vehicles were painted in the US olive drab coloration and the USA Stars were painted on as well, in the hopes that these vehicles would deceive the US GIs. Ultimately, Operation Greif was a failure, however, the disguised German soldiers did cause confusion and much disarray within the US troops, before ultimately being discovered for the ruse it was.
Here is the perfect addition to your collection and Battle of the Bulge dioramas, displays, etc. This item ships from Ottawa, Canada. Please allow for border crossing and Customs, when considering the shipping timeframe.
Winning bidder must pay via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction's closing. Thanks for looking. Good luck to all bidders.

It doesn't even look like a K&C model. It looks too crudely made. And there doesn't appear to have mud in the tracks ^&grin

Listing has item location shown as Lincoln, Massachusetts, United States but says it ships from Ottawa Canada.^&confuse

Obee - better check on Wayne. Seems the very high Aussie temperatures may have gotten to him??? ^&grin How hot is Oz? It's so hot Canada still doesn't have any snow {eek3}

It's a cool start for the New Year, only 30c tomorrow here on the West Coast, BUT Canberra will be having 35c ... thats nothing like the 40+c temps we have all been having recently promoting horrific fires :(

Happy New Year,

John

BBG117 hasn't been released yet as far as I know. The eBay listing pictures a German Halftrack with American Star markings, looks to be the earlier Grey edition with some Winter snow added. I don't collect this range but it looks authentic, anyone else know?

Interesting that it is an Type C version, older version than the vehicle used in the battle, Andy is the only person who will confirm or not,

You could use it with the Elefant, which is a great standalone vehicle, but not used in the Battle of the Ardennes.

hi Guys,
Over the years K&C has produced lots of German halftracks...but definitely not this particular one.
Happy New Year!
Andy.

I see he has changed the description, someone must have asked a few questions on the validity of the item being a future K & C release.

Think the guy is either trying it on and the postage and custom charges to the UK are a joke, over double postage and nearly treble what the custom charges would be.

Ebayer to avoid

The seller's own words :

King and Country "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing #2" * this seems a fitting title for a wishful model we all hope K&C would actually release.
Here is your chance to obtain a custom - one of a kind, repainted SdKfz. 251, portraying the famous disguised vehicles used in the deception operation of
the Battle of the Bulge.

What a clown show ! Nothing worse than taking a well known brand name and using it however you please !
