Berlin 1938: First Set

They're back and they're ready to give it another go!

The Collectors Showcase presents the beginning of our new series: Berlin 1938. A series meant to chronicle, in miniature, the city and its National Socialist identity at the height of the Third Reich's pre-war power.

The first diorama offering is the Fuhrer's Reichkanzlei office complete with map table, lamps and removable swastika flag. The initial figure set offerings are the figures and personalities that brought the Western world to the edge of oblivion.

Each figure comes with a removable hat allowing greater flexibility in display. The launch of this series heralds a long view of the great variety of locales available to the collector. Each vignette setting brings the collector another view of the cities central points throughout the Nazi period. This set and figures will be available on our site and at your favorite dealer for pre-order in one short week. We expect sets in just 4-5 weeks for delivery. Limited to a run of just 350 sets they're sure to be sought after items before too long. Visit us on the web at: www.thecollectorsshowcase.com

the sculpt is very complimentary on herr goering :D
and will there be another figure of the fuhrer?
it'll be interesting if there's one of him looking at a map on the desk.

and brian, well done on the different height of the personalities, esp dietrich.
its a small detail yet important one.:)

I am with Rob on this one.

Although not quite my cup of tea, it is an interesting release.

The figures look pretty good too.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Great release. The figures are very well done. The Heer general is the only one who has me stumped. I especially like Goring and Galland. The props are also outstanding. I bet one can see their reflection in the marble top table. Congratulations. -- Al

really like the LAH parade stuff so, these are nice additions and look to make an attractive vignette. The only thing I dislike is the removable hats not for me but, I am like that with a lot of removable parts etc that are creeping there way into the hobby. Personally, you may as well go and buy a kit if thats what you want but, they sell so, its just my opinion.

I think this a great set and while not what I collect it is quite innovative. I like the touch of being able to remove the hats. IMO you get a better bang for your buck.

I am not sure who the officer with the map is ?

Anyone know who it is supposed to represent?

My guess is Gerd von Rundstedt.

Thanks, Raymond.:)
