Very hard to pick one for me either Grey Stug or Winter Tiger, Firefly is great too. Agree with Lord Simon, Chaffee is very nice.

After waiting so long for the winter Tiger and paying a fair bit for it i was a wee bit disapointed. The figures are brilliant just the size as i got it after the Tunisian Tiger and it is tiny.BUT lets see what comes out of Chicago might sell one to buy another (minus the crew).

Yes there is a size diff between the two but then there was also a long time between them, the Winter Tiger is such a good release and remains very popular hence the asking price, I'd hang on to it if I was you Wayne;).

No doubt the new and the old won't match up size wise, but all you do is not place them together in your dio, thats what I'll be doing;)

I have the old winter tiger but without the crew it is not very desireable....The crew makes the whole piece come alive...otherwise it's pretty bland

Three of my favorites are: The Jagdpanther, the sandbagged Sherman, and the Stug III.

I like the new Kursk Tiger. Good coloring and size. I also really like the BoB King Tiger, again, good colors and great size. The Kursk Tiger just captures my image of what a Tiger should look like. Very pleased with both of them. -- Al

I love the Firefly, will have three in my dio, But I also like the Captured German T34!:D

Excellent pics Duke, the Jagdpanther is another fave and has stood the test of time against newer releases in my opinion.

I think the question is what is the best not favorite as the answers may not be one and the same.

As far as best, I would vote for the winter Chaffee and the Desert Panzer IV.

I'm not a big fan of the Desert Tiger; the tracks seemed to be of the old style and it didn't really fit in with the rest of the Desert War range as the Tiger was only in Tunisia.

Very true, it easily slips into favourite instead of best.

I think the Hummel is another worthy of mention here, very good tracks on this too.

Favourite vs best. The most number of comments by far when people see my collection is on the Winter Tiger. It's the favourite, even though it is not the "best" K&C model made.
