Ah, yes - Good old Stevie, Al He must be one of THE most undervalued, overlooked vocalist/guitarists ever- and for a few years in the '60's the coolest looking bloke on the planet. ^&cool

'Saw the Pie a couple of times (one of them at the Hyde Park free concert supporting Grand Funk - who they blew off stage) and then saw him countless times around the pubs after he fell foul of the "Big time"

He used to live quite near us and I'd often see him around in the old town wearing his Humble Pie "On to Victory" leather tour jacket.

Good as the Pie were though, my heart is still with the Small Faces ("Ogdens Nut Gone Flake" what a classic album). This is one of my favourite Small Faces tracks - a very apt title for these pages:
