Saw an article this morning that Big Ben is being renamed by Parliment to Queen Elizabeth Tower. Maybe Big Ben wasn't an official title. May take a while to get used to not having BB in London anymore. First the loss of famous named regiments and now this.

Don't worry, Big Ben is only the bell( people often think Bell, Tower and Clock are all Big Ben) and will still be Big Ben, the tower that holds it will be Queen Elizabeth Tower:smile2:

I believe the clock tower is "St. Steven's Tower" The largest (and off key)bell is "Big Ben"

If a visitor asks directions to the QE Tower I wonder what the repsonse will be?

Good question, but I'm guessing many will always know it as Big Ben even though its the bell and not the tower.
