Spent a pleasant weekend working on this piece. Added more foliage variety. Then carefully placed the main Indian in the scene. The other figures were then added. I placed the scene into the box to test for fitment.
thx for yr kind comments. Strong tornadoes continuously try to blow me to Oz but I remain resolute on this trek.
Reworked the bkgd indian a little. Created a bit of real estate. This will be oversee with foliage and stuck to the front of the base. I’ve created a small gully on the base front, hence the piece of wood stuck in front.
I tested the framing size. Decided to ‘tilt’ up the base from the back.
Painted the bkgd in oils. Decided to widen the scene. Then corrected all the defects and painted the piece. Adding the final foliage bits before I add the lights. Notice the lake in the bkgd?
I finished ptg everything and installed the lights. Switched on at night, then added the frame. Notice how the frame bounces the light back into the scene, lighting it further. I tk I’m a lucky maker to get such end results, mostly unexpected.
Hi Steve and Grey
Tx for yr kind comments. With the correct lighting and AI, one can do wonders.
it’s not over yet. I’m knocking up some tiny bisons for the bkgd. The front legs are made from bent short wires. AI and photoshop will hopefully do the rest.
