Simply perfect composition, now just need the forge!!! I believe that the building is one of Mike's own creations.

Another very nicely done photograph Michael. Your Blacksmith and Naval photographs are really getting my morning off to a great start . . . . . enjoyed them all .. . .

thank you everyone for the kind words...

Ken...I did make that building...

I think it was the second wood building I ever made...I just recently started to repaint it...adding texture detail to the wood and plan to build window panes and frame to finish off the windows...

Yep, as usual great composition!

I am a great admirer of your ground work and your ability to cover the bases so it looks very lifelike!

Super Mike, more inspiration!
What is that ground cover? Bark from the garden, or a model makers item?
I have seen plastic earth for sale, but not tried it?
Looking forward to the next one, you are setting a precedent now, 2 new dios at a time!

thank you Niels...

thank you James...the groundwork is just regular variety garden mulch and dirt run through a coffee grinder to break the scale size down some...

Very nice blacksmith figure and barn. I enjoy your creative photos and diorama. Well done. John

Amazing Mike what you can do with three simple figures, and a wealth of creative talent. The Blacksmith is a GREAT FIGURE who can be placed in so many different scenes. Love the ground work.
