I rearranged a couple of shelves. I moved most of the unfinished projects to another section.

In anticipation of my expanding collection, I decided to create another shelf in one of my IKEA bookshelf, comprising upper and lower cabinet.

The upper shelf of the lower cabinet was moved up to act as a transient storage shelf. The new second shelf is meant for 1700-1750, coinciding with the reign of Louis XIV. The third shelf will be for 1750-1800, Louis XV, Seven Years War and American War of Independence. 1st pix.

Also, the upper cabinet will now be subdivided into early middle ages, later middle ages, Tuoor Francis I period, Phillip II of Spain and QE!, 30 years war and English Civil War.2nd pix. You can see some regrouping of the figures. 3rd Pix. Anyway, thats the plan for now.

This shelf has had the Aztec and Cossack flats added. Also includes three heavy medieval tournament knights.

The curios section incudes fully displayed unpainted figs in the bkgd and a Down’s syndrome proto doll. I’ve removed all the detailed natives to put elsewhere.

Hi Rob,

thx for yr nice comment and looking in.

So a further rework on the displays. I removed all the natives to another section. The upper section of my first cabinet is now Ancients, mostly Egyptians, Greeks, Assyrians, Sumerians (flats) and Romans so far. The lower section is now medievals up to pre Tudor. I've also changed the backing to red. I put all my heavy books on the lower sections.

The second cabinet will now be Tudor , Thirty Years war etc. Lots of space so far. Notice that I use small mirrors to extend the middle shelf contents.
