It’s that time of year again when Smaug visits his wrath. My wife, this time abetted by my daughter are doing the usual year end cleaning and I hv to stand to , in case they try to move my pieces. I’ve got to undo and reconnect the lights. So I’ve had to shift and redistr my growing shadowboxes ard.
This is the first draft. Phew.

I took the opportunity to dust off an older diorama and put it out. Flats by W Braune.

I’m rejigging my fig display again. Trying to squeeze my Roman-centric period with the Papua New Guinea natives, I think that I will have to completely move the natives to a different section. There is just too much overflow. I’ll probably cut back on my golden Chersonese displays to make room.

I went to my friend’s place and took some pics of his collection. He’s added quite a few new figs to his blooming collection and is very pleased to share the pcs with all. Various makes. He has arranged them thematically.
Desert , Mamelukes, early Americana, misc and the Alamo.
