I personally love the idea od blown up vehicles, they look great in any diorama or scene, and can be used in many different displays!:)

I would love a blown up and damaged Sherman Firefly tank, or Blown up GMC Truck with the back of the truck blown up, ribbing in shreads and such, maybe a coupe of dead guys in the back of the truck, and one wounded trying to crawl away?:D

Maybe a Willys Jeep covered with bullet holes and flat tires, and a dead GI in the front seat, and maybe a bullet hole in the front of the jeep's glass, like a sniper has taken out the driver and the jeep has driven off the road?

Do other people like the idea of blown up/damaged vehicles, or does this idea not appeal to them, have the chance to vote!:)

I agree and this adds more realism to the scenes created. All good and well having opponents facing each other in dio's but, having casualty figures from both sides and damaged vehicles adds that extra touch to them IMO. Probably, not for all but, I would like to see stuff like this released. especially, as we have had some germans released lately so, it needs balancing out allied casualties in the near future

Thanks for replying!:DI think they bring a battlefield to life!:D

I have bought the Collector Showcase Normandy Panther with blown track
and really looks good with the 2 dead tankers set up on tank with allied troops
moving up.

It seems that Collector's Shpwcase is the one doing this sort of vehicles and figures, from what I can find.

As a Napoleonic Collector, I think that thier Artillery of the Guards with damaged gun and wounded gunners are a great set and it fits in well with the battlefield scene of 1815. King & Country also make dead and wounded Naps and other eras , so lets see more of these poor unfortunates of war and thier equipment.... be it horse drawn or diesel powered!

I don't bother with dios so damaged items aren't high on my list.

I'm sorry if certain people want their votes private, but I would just like to say that I noticed Brad liked the thought of shot up vehicles with dead figures included!:D

Didn't know you liked stuff like that mate!:D

As an example of Blown up/ dead / damaged, check out theses by Tradition of London from thier Napoleonic Model range of Retreat from Moscow 1812

Alexanderrs Toy Soldier http://www.ats-uk.net/also has some great wounded/dying and equipment, so check them out too if interested.

It doesn't always have to be 20th century era figures, so I'd love to see more of the new makers producing more realistic battlefield figures and equipment from this era too.

Scott really liked your ideas here! I would love a jeep with a flat tyre & dead driver taken out by a sniper that would really appeal to me! So would the blown up GMC truck with injured troops crawling away hopefully both could be done with US paras? As we haven't had any new US paras from K&C in a while!
