Is there a chance that we ever will see some BoB Tommies ? It would be nice to see some British troops in winter gear.
don't forget they fought on the frontline from the villages of Tellin to Rochefort and Hotton.
30th Britsh Corps the 53th Welsh div liberated the villages and towns of Marche and Hotton, Menil, Waharday, Rendeux and Griebiemont. They were later replaced by the 51st Highland div. the 1st Northampton Yeomanry took Florennes and the 3th Royal Tank Regiment liberated Celles.
6th airborne was also involved. The 13th Para regiment liberated several villages( Bure,Wavreille,Grupont,Jemelle, On,Hargimont, Nassogne and several more. )
Also French SAS paras were on the scene, they took Saint-Hubert and so were the 5th Queen own Highlanders they chased the Germans out of the villages of Mierchamps and Journal.
1st Canadian para bat and Belgian SAS Para liberated Marche en Famenne, and Bande.
The Achilles tank in La Roche is a reminder of the involvement of all these troops .
So a lot of possibilities to add to the BOB collection
something to think about

I think that's a great idea, would add something new to the range.

I would like to see that than just concentrating on the US forces Some good units there for figure sets
Mitch

I'd be a buyer of those troops for sure. Afterall British troops were comparably equipped to Canadians and everyone knows Canadians and winter go hand in hand. {sm4}

Yeah, i would like to see winter Brit's as well. I always wondered why you didn't see or hear much about the Brit's or Canadians during the winter campaigns.

A big YES!!!!!....I would certainly be interested in a serie of British,Canadian troops in winter gear!! In my opinion KC has always been sadly
reticent in this area, when they do release commonwealth troops Wow!! are they good, but why do we have to wait so long for them to arrive??? I sometimes get a little tired of (as good as they are) of yet another release of G.I.s and SS sets, After all they were not the only
troops out there fighting!! We have as i understand the word that the Russians are coming..Not before time!!, the end result of WWII would have been completely different if they had nor been there, and as a leading manufacturer of WWII figures KC should not ignore them.
I also feel the same way over all the Commonwealth Forces that fought to free Europe...I love to put my KC figures/vehicles in Dioramas that tell a story but apart from a few Desert Rats from years ago, and the recent excellent D. Day British and Canadian Troops the releases are in a word dissapointing!!....So a YES!!..YES!!...YES!! to your idea...Andy listen up!!... and while your at it throw in a M3A1 Halftrack towing a
17 Pounder Anti-Tank Cannon..Now that would really be something!!.

I asked the same question last year but it look like all that sell is jerry stuff

Great idea and I'd be in. The Bulge range as a whole both US and German sets is one of my favourite and largest collections, the addition of some frostbitten Brits would be very welcome indeed, they did play a part in those battles and it would be something a little different.

Going by what Montgomery said they play:ped a big part

I'm up for some Bulge Tommies! I collect most the British stuff K&C offers RAF, 8thArmy, FOB & any British D-Day release the only american sets I own are for the Bulge so it be nice to add some Brits into the mix!

Craig

Yes please. Some Brit units wore all white snow suits which would certainly be different. There is a unfortunate tendency for the model soldier world to forget the British Army in Europe after Arnhem. This needs to be addressed and corrected!

I'd love to see K & C make some British units in white snow suits. Sounds like just the right thing for the Bulge collection.

I add a few pics of possible winter suits and outfits and also a picture of the preserved Achilles in La Roche

Some great pics. I think these all look excellent and, would add some extra vitality to the ranges in question. I am all for more brit troops. I also agree that more acknowledgment that we continued to fight right up until the last bell would not be a bad thing. Has any matt manufacturer ever released a winter Brit set????
