Rob,
The Lancaster has got to be the Spitfire of the Bomber Command, imho of course.
Jeff
Absolutely Jeff, was great to see them both flying over London again the other day.

I've seen the Battle of Britain Lancaster flying low over my way twice this year ,just make you think how brave them boy were flying at fifty feet & you can see how they lost a lot of planes on the way out to the dam to flakmentioning the Dambusters earlier I can't wait for the documentary ''Dambusters Declassified'' narrated by Martin Shaw which, apparently sheds new light on this terrific raid

Sorry just been away making some air dry clay sandbags. Monday night 7;30pm on BBC1 only problem I have just rechecked and its only half an hour

This was in our local park but was starting to deteriorate
so they made an outline and replaced it with these
Total agreeits a fitting tribute and the sculpts inside will be awesome. Its well overdue and, will be a tremendous opening and a great place for those to remember the bravery of the airmen.
