Martyn, I really love those Sudan sets, nearly makes me want to collect gloss figures!
Jeff
The Sudan era, like most of Queen Victoria's Little Wars, really lends itself to a glossy finish.

Amazing coincidence re Joe's latest picture and your comment: Yesterday I afforded myself a little self indulgence and had a 58" Panasonic screen and BluRay cinema set delivered and fitted by the Panasonic engineers. The guys suggested they set the system up by using the BluRay version of Zulu which I already had in my small collection of BR Discs-they certainly knew what they were talking about.
Absolutely amazing I like most of you have seen this movie a hundred times at least on Cinema; TV; VHS & various DVD versions but last night I really watched it for the first time in such incredible color and clarity you almost had to wear a pair of Wayfarers to view it One could clearly see the intricate and exact detail on the buttons of the tunics- every bead of sweat on the Zulu and the vivid breathtaking colors of each scene simply blew me away. Zulu on Bluray??? Highly recommended to all you Zulu collectors
