A little fun in South Africa :D

An officer points out a herd of Zebra to a private.

A private was a little too close to the watering hole.

Nice one mate. Could be the start of a new series 'When animals Attack!'

Thanks Scott!:) Not yet unfortunately!:( I've gotten distracted by side dioramas like my "Brecourt Manor" and "Lonely Road" diorama. However planning on building a 3 1/2 X 5 table with a giant Normandy village built on it (that includes my church)!:D

I look forward to seeing them Vick, and if you ever need anyone to look after your Church I am just accross the border LOL :p

We could hold a joint service for your chaps of the 24th, and my boys of the American ETO force!:D I'm sure they'll be enough room within the church, just gotta find some church pews!;)

It is from the Hoffman collection, I don't know the maker, Louis can you help?

The title of the diorama is "Saving the Guns at Maiwand". I believe the name of the company that made the miniatures is HM Miniatures or JM Miniatures. The figures are very nicely painted, and the artillery pieces, limbers, and caissons are exceptional . . . you can actually lift the shells out of the spaces in the limbers where they fit.

Kevin it's sure been awhile since Carlos's been bored. Guess I'll have to fill in for him this time around hoping will find him bored again real soon......The Lt.
