Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (2 Viewers)

Jeff,

I take it you've not been on holiday in the States or Canada recently. Hence, the availability of that elusive coloured liquid.

But did you notice how small it is? Its all I have in Glossy green for the Mountford Guns. Now matte green is a different story!

Small? I used to dream about having that much glossy green.
But you tell the kids today......;)

Bored is good, My Lord!!! Tell me, is the haversack placement correct on this guy? I remember John Young on the RDVC forum mentioning some info and forgot what his beef was...
Happy 3rd,4th, 5th, 6th...!!!

According to John Young this haversack is also worn incorrectly and John's correct in his comments on it the water bottle was placed over the haversack. Also note that the placement of waterbottles buckel appears on the rear of all of the other 24th Ft. figures where it should have appeared on the front of the figures with the exception of one. Not finding fault just stating fact.....The Lt.

Hey, look what I found long forgotten on an old flashdrive? It's one of the first photo's I ever took of the first diorama I ever made. I thought it was long gone.
That's a backdrop photo of actual sand dunes I took in Oman a few years ago.

nice one Harry, good to see you posting - is that the Figarti version ?

Hi Kevin,

Naah, it's the K&C version - which I've kind of "altered" a wee bit since this snap. Gimme a few minutes and I'll find a photo to show what I mean.
To be honest, I'm not sure which I prefer, Figarti or K&C. They both have their merits, and demerits.

Cheers

That one I like-a lot- and those sand dunes remind me of Maspalomas in Gran Canaria which I know doesn't compete with your world travels-but thought I'd mention it anyway.:D

Great little dio though!

Hey thanks for that Reb.
Just got home a wee while ago with the latest loot. And there's more ought to be turning up around Monday/Tuesday that we simply didn't have room in our luggage for - so I guess we'll see if having it delivered straight to the hoose by Chinese couriers is going to work. Certainly hope so, as it'll save us a fortune in future.
Looks like the camera is going to be busy next week.
:)

Cheers
H
