Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (7 Viewers)

Another avalanche of great looking photos of your "Nam" collection Steve. Outstanding 👏👏
Mike
Thanks Mike, there's a lot more than I had originally though, up to 196 different quick little set ups and dioramas do far, but it's definitely winding down now !

Steve,

All your Vietnam scenes are classic! Each one superbly done and can pass for actual photos of the time.

Great job!!!

Thanks Mark 👍🏻
As the Andy increased the range over the years, so did my appreciation of it and my photos improved, I certainly went to a lot of effort trying to find the best photos to use as backdrops for the little scenes, and still look great today, even if I say so myself.
Andy and his brother Gordon came out with some great dioramas as did Vietnam Vet and ex Green Beret Pat Gallagher with his, especially memorable were his Dong Ha village complete with VC concealed bunker and his Dong Ba Gate Tower at Hue, that Andy also did.
Normandy 1944 AKA Harry /Harrie, a Dutch forum member had created a fabulous Battle of Hue street scene too, before sadly his early death.

Thanks Kevin, there's been a lot more than I thought !😉
Good pics Steve! Clearly, the corn eating woman is VC. She's everywhere. My favorite pic that I didn't see yet is of US soldiers huddled behind tanks in Hue city. Also love the Sheridan tank. Still hoping KC would make that tank. Unique design.

Thank you, yes she's very suspicious. 🤔 Is she eating corn or seen too many movies where they put the pin to a grenade with their teeth !
Yes the Sheridan has its own distinct silhouette, still you never know, Andy may change his mind.
It's been disappointing that though there's been plenty of NVA, VC and civilian Vietnamese and White Mice, just the one ARVN MP, nothing else, no Rangers, paras or Marines and no M41 Walker Bulldog, let alone the not so enthusiastic ARVN troops. Would of been nice to have had some Buddhist monks too. Still as Andy says you never know, his interest in that conflict might return.
In the meantime, as you ask.....

That's a great looking display. It's certainly on my growing list of "That's Steve's best so far" 😉
