Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (4 Viewers)

Awesome display Fish!
Looks like you have been busy! You've signed up to the fubar school of Napoleonic madness!Love the buildings you did too.

Great ruined house too!

Morbshock, Your AWI BMC guys look swell. A nice paint job on figures that are just okay really works! Thats a lot of work.Your results are well worth the considerable effort it takes to paint 54mm figs.Well done.

FUBARRRRRRRRR

THANKS Fubar.Sometimes the BMC soldiers are not the easiest to paint. They have so much extra plastic on them.

Here is an overview of our next generation of Dioramas. We will post close ups, and other views on our section of Toy Soldier Chat shortly. Alex

Another great diorama, Alex, looks like you were busy on your birthday.:) It's nice to see the Hummel in action, it's one of K&C's best efforts to date.

That one kept me and Nick busy for about 3 months, this was a quick shot, as I said in the previous post, we will have better shots up shortly....Here is the color version............Alex

I can see a new K&C line coming up: - "The WWII Health and Safety Inspectors". "Oooh, you don't want to be parking your Hummel there mate, have you seen the angle of that Chimney? You'll have someone's eye out, you mark my words!" :D

Great work as usual, love the pics!

Actually if you look at the black and white version I blurred the chimney to give the effect it was coming down. Also the guy in the Hummel and a walking soldier on the right of the chimney see it. Alex

Alex,

Great attention to detail as usual, right down to the photo effects. Nice.

As the title of this thread suggests - ya'll make your dioramas when you are bored.

Does the lack of diorama pictures suggest there's no boredom in your houses?

Let's see what you are up to.

Pete

Alex,
Thanks for posting that picture; Nick, you did an INCREDIBLE job on the factory, my hat is off to you as your work gets better and better, and that's saying something. Can't wait to see my buildings on Sunday..............wow...............

Thanks Warrior for the compliment. I don't get much credit with Alex's great looking pictures. I make 90% to 100% of the actual dioramas he uses from scratch. The factory is 2 feet by 3 feet and around a foot tall. It looks awesome in person! Regarding your buildings for the show, if you look carefully in the background of the factory picture you will see a lot of your large buildings. They look awesome in the background of this photo. Wait until you guys see my bomb damaged stone bridge which is 27 inches long. It it of museum quality.....
See you and probably many others on Sunday at the Hackensack,NJ show..

Nick/AKA;Morbshock

Nick,

If Alex is not giving you enough credit, I know a good lawyer who can get tough with him

Thanks Jazzeum, but I don't think I'll need one. Ha! I can always tell Alex that I'm on strike and not make anything anymore. LOL.......
Today I photograph my museum quality stone bridge and will post it in the near future before I sell it......
Thanks again for your assistance..:D

Nick,

If Alex is not giving you enough credit, I know a good lawyer who can get tough with him

Here would be the defense. First I do the research, then I develop the concept and design for all of the dioramas, then if Nicks buildings or accessories are used (50% of the dioramas don't have them, In the beginning there was 0%) Nick is credited, as I mentioned in this recent diorama.

Then I build the entire diorama and place the buildings and accessories as planned. Then I set up the lighting, I do the photography, spend hours computer correcting and enhancing the photos. Then I acquire the Sponsor for the diorama, without whose help we would not be able to do the volume of dioramas we do. Do you think you still want to take the case:D

Then if Nick goes on strike I will have to build the buildings and the volume will be reduced. In all seriousness this concept (Created by me) has been a team effort. Nick the Sponsors and me, and I hope all of you enjoy what we have been able to do. We have many more on the way, with some unique concepts. And some don't even have Nicks buildings in them, as a matter of fact I had time to actually do the buildings for two of them...Alex

Mrgooch, Thanks for the compliment...I made the lamp posts from scratch. Also the steel beams,etc....Underneath the roadway there are smaller lamps which cannot be seen in the photos...
