Oh sure, Theres a 100' polebarn, plenty of room.Rather cold out there , I might suggest you all wait until Summer time!

I been there twice and it was awesome. I saw Fubar's Napoleonic armies in 28mm set up. What a sight! Been back once again. Maybe a road trip starting on the East Coast and picking up us slugs has you head West. Don't want to do it in mountain snows unless I bring some crackers. Leadmen:D

John, we'll swing by and pick you up, Fub says there's plenty of room in his barn, but I'm allergic to cats. If we're going through Michigan and Minnesota we''ll have to wait till spring, I hear there's only two seasons in those states anyway, winter and July.:D See ya then, might have to use your bathroom when we get there though.

Yes Fred, I think it is best to wait for better weather. Maybe you could talk to George G. to drive us there. (Tell him we know where there is a big show). I won't eat at Taco Bell. Been there did it. Three days later I got to Dr. and he said food poisioning. I said the last place I ate was Taco Bell. He said "don't eat there!" I usually never stop at the place. This was a week before it broke in the news.I think Fubar could have a kitty roundup before we arrive and we won't have allegeries. John:rolleyes:

John, have you ever been in a vehicle with George behind the wheel, it's like being in a Grand Theft Auto video game.:D Just kidding George, you're an excellent driver, yeah an excellent driver!;)

My Son Ryan { he's 12} have had this Pacific theme WW2 battle set up on the wargames table for 5-6 weeks and have yet to play with it. Our black cat gets up there and sleeps on it, thats about all the action thats taken place.
Time for it all to be put away for a while.Maybe during his Christmas Holiday break we'll have our friend over for a battle.Thought I would shoot a couple pix before we take it down.Haven't really added much to this collection except for some TSSD Marines and Japanese.I only got around to painting one of each and I added the Conte landing craft since I broke down and boguth the Omaha Beach sets. I finally repainted some Conte trench parts and bunkers but thats about it.
I found a Tamiya Chi ha, Japanese Ho Ni and a Italieri LVT a 4 at a swap meet for $10.00 each last month. Havent gotten around to building those yet either!

I'd like to dive right into this diorama and start playing!:D I'll be over in a little while. LOL Nick

Yes, indeed , My own Miniatures convention. If we only had more room at the house I wouldnt have to make you all sleep in the barn with the horde of rampaging fuzzy buggers.

Next on the table looks like 1812 Russians. I need to take some shots anyway now that I have more painted.
LOTR TWO TOWERS was on TV last night. Will have to set all that up once the Russians get put away.Still have a couple Trolls and some other odds and ends 1/2 painted from last year during the Holidays when it was on the field.
That always makes for a fun evening with some friends pushing hordes of Orcs and other assorted nasties around.
Hers a pix from last time.

Hey Carlos, I like all of your figures,etc.. that you have displayed. The Hummel also looks real good. I have to honestly say that you did too much "whipping up" LOL, because the diorama is much too confusing to look at. I realize the tight area for your display but I know you can do better and I do realize that war is also confusing. Don't get me wrong Carlos, I'm not in anyway putting you down, I'm just giving you my honest opinion on what I noticed regarding your quickly whipped diorama.:) When I'm in the area one day I'll stop by and we can play army. LOL. Take care and no hard feelings okay...

No offense taken Nick.

You caught me; this diorama was started in a small corner on my home office desk. It usually starts with a theme in the truest diorama tradition.

Then it usually morphs into what you see, which is more like a series of vignettes collapsed onto of each other without any real storyline at all but like a celebration of fun and an opportunity to display as much as possible.

Sorry for the confusion,

Carlos

Very nice Carlos. The scene is very well lit. Almost no shadows. How did you light it and what model camera do you use?
