Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (2 Viewers)

Thanks Lt, actually it was Pat's recent photos that urged me to give posting of my own pics a try.

This photo is of a 1/50 Corgi Canadian Halftrack. I bought the base from the same eBay seller and the trees are again the standard Sceenic woodland types you can get in most hobby shops. This is obviously their Autumn/Fall range which are possibly a bit to colorful :) The base is meant for my 1/72 models but close enough for 1/50 if you pretend the trees are young.

Last pic for now.

This is a shot of Barmann (Honour Bound) telling Wittman (K & C collectors ed) that Panthers are the better cat :)

See how quickly you've master a digital camera. What I find enjoyable is seeting the scene to be photograph. It give me a good excuse to play with my toy soldiers. Please keep the photos coming......The Lt.

Just one more :)

This is our Armies of Middle Earth collection that is set up in the kids lounge room. AOME are no longer in production but you should be able to find them on eBay ok. They are made from plastic and the scale is close to 1/30, you may be able to spot a few seige weapons etc that fit in well with the K & C Crusader/Saracen range. The Helms Deep stronghold is in the background.

Here's a closeup shot of Helms Deep showing the seige weapons more clearly. You'll note that dusting isn't a high priority with orcs or kids

Ozdigger, great pics. It looks like you mastered the camera work. I'm glad you answered a question I had about the AOME figs. I thought they were the same scale as K&C. Mike.

I've been looking forward to additional photos from down under and thanks for delivering them.........The Lt.

I've already poste this photo of the Factory by Joe Farina in the Dedham Show Thread and thought it deserved a second posting in DIORAMAS.....The Lt.

Whenever you need to be inspired, take a tour of the hundreds of photos of the past dioramas displayed. This Fourm is the tops, Thank you Pete and Shannon. Mike.:)

I love this guy......... WOW he is more down and dirty than I ever was. I think I have the nerve to bring my FOV and 21st Century stuff out in the back yard and roll it in the dirt...............I love the result of outdoor photos..........This is some of the most exciting stuff I have ever seen. This is the Diorama world gone wild:D Alex.

Thanks Alex. You cant get the detail that professional dio makers get. But you can sure have fun. I do get very dirty doing this espacially about the third day at my camp out But a little water fixes that right up.
Actually a little dirt and dust on your tanks make them look a little more realistic in my mind.
Have Fun and I am glad you enjoy my pictures.
Charlie

OK ..I am up for the challenge how about KING AND COUNTRY outside:cool: , you guys remember this one:D Firebat
