winter wonderland......pass the spanner mate!

"Nein, ein metrich spanner du spanner, nicht ein imperial!"
(Okay, mein German might be a bit rusty). Looking forward to the thousands of shots. :)

Lt,
That's a great little set you've got there, I can see why you're so pleased with it.

Couple more....

I've finally figured out how to post more than 1 photo at a time.
I'm off to find some technically challanged people and gloat with my new found learning :)

Major Wraith looking forward to your gloting over the multi set of photos you plan on posting. By the way Simon I've really enjoyed your last group of photos. The machine gun team was a major winner thanks for posting them....The Lt.

Thanks Lt. I'd never have thought to do the close up shots, without the inspiration from the likes of yourself and Kevin. Now I've got a reasonable camera, I just need to get some more backdrops, bases and buildings.

Ok, you bored me a bit.....:D

Great photos Simon. Slowly but surely I'm being pushed toward Arnhem.
BTW, what make/model of camera did you get?
Cheers

And that's just 4 figures. There's 15 sets out there just waiting for your Visa card number, with 7 more sets to finish off any spare debit cards you might have lying about. You know you want to, just one little phone call, that's all it takes.....:D

I ended up getting a Fujifilm S5700 Finepix. I think any better camera would be wasted on me. Got it from Amazon for £111 instead of everywhere else at £150. It's got 7.1 of those mega pixel thingies, a 10x optical zoom doodah, lots of settings which I haven't figured out, ('cause I'm a bloke and started ar$eing around with it before reading the instructions) and macro + super macro settings. Don't know what the difference between macro and super macro is, but if it's called 'super', it must be good.

Simon,
Are you using software for the orange/yellow lighting effect? I sometimes us HP Image Zone to accentuate a certain overall colour effect.
Cheers
H

H,
For these shots I used a complex electrical 240 volt set up.
Simon

This stunning revelation leads me to conclude that you used an innovative invention called an orange lightbulb?
:):):)
Cheers
H

I'd like to claim that I had the innovation to put in a coloured lightbulb, but, it was just standard. Hmmm, doesnt actually sound that complex when you read it again......:p

Simon, love the modern scenes. Thanks. I'm bored again.
