Simon, love the modern scenes. Thanks. I'm bored again.

Panda.
Just lurve that NBF pose with a nicely blurred but realistic background.......and there was me firmly convinced that I was the only Treefrogger fighting on horseback and wearing the gray!

"Get there first with the most"-Nathan Bedford Forrest on how to win that war!

Is the ACW your number one collecting passion? And do you only stick with K&C figures?.

Oh! and by the way posting pics like yours and the Lt's regularly posting his Paramount Production and Oscar winning dio of the drift and now "GLADIATOR vs Eric the Viking"???????? I'm definitely not bored...........
......but does that mean I shouldn't be hanging around this thread?

It's been a few weeks but I finally sat down and loaded a few images of our WW2 Pacific Battle on November 10.Marine Corps Birthday and Vetrans Day on the 11th.

Have some chores to do but I'll be back later and load up some more and give a brief narrative of what took place.

I am afraid that I remain disciplined and do not................yet, collect........................other periods..........yet, ............

If I did, Napoleonics may be my first other, although my favourite period in many respects was ACW - ww1 without the trenches. I have a soft spot for the confederates and think Lee was one of the greatest commanders ever.

The problem is just the shear volume of ww2 stuff otherwise I would.

When I was a kid, the only 'proper toy soldiers' (apart from airfix plastics) I had were Britains detail ACW. Also the best wargame I ever played was ACW (about 30 years ago) commanding shotgun cavalry (Confed) in a big game. So meanwhile thanks to Louis for letting me shoot his stuff, and especial thanks and dedication to Tim Tyler (good ol' Reb) for being such a gentleman and helping so much with the shoot.

Hope to see you in the bar on Friday or Saturday night. Or both. :D

I think I got away without mentioning the charge........;)

Thanks for the post Panda, the photos are brilliant.

We woke up one morning in late July to see a fog covering the pond bordering my driveway, and Kevin had me run the diorama outside, set up a table, and he shot some of the most realistic Toy Soldier photos I've ever seen. Each was better than the next as the fog slowly burned off. What great fun we had for 8 solid days (although moving half my collection down from the museum and out into the yard for natural light photography was a pain in the butt)!
