Guys,
I have just returned from Brisbane and have had two great days in beautiful weather enjoying the company of a great band of Brett's customer. I noted down before I left all the requests to Andy by Forum members and decided as there were many that instead of raising them at the Dinner and hogging the floor all night that I would grab Andy aside over a coffee and hit him with all your questions. Any that were posted after I had left didn't get asked.
1. Flak Panzer (Mitch) Single barrel version no problems but a multi barrelled version unlikely.
2. Stuka/kettenKrad (Wayne) Stuka is on the list but still investigating the best way to manufacture this large bent wingspan. Kettenkrad - You Bet.
3. Arnhem (Rob) Not finish with this range. Considering options at the moment.
4. Kittyhawk (Craig) YES
5. D-Day Canadians (Guy) More British and Commonwealth troops but no Canadians this year.
6. Civil War/Real West (Brad) ACW - The masters are done looking for a space in the release schedule. Real West - Still on the agenda, nothing in the pieline.
7. Wooden Warbirds (Brad) JU52 in three versions - Goering private plane, Winter Russian version and a Western Front version.
8. Desert FW190 (UKSubs) No Plans.
9. Russians (Panzer Ace, Sentaapua) Probable - Watch this space for a few surprises.
10. WW1 (Doughboy) More in the pipeline and on the schedule in support of WW1 aircraft. 1914 German Add On sets also.

I hope that helps answer some of your questions. It was a quick fifteen mintues as Andy had to get back into the Brett's shop to greet new customers.
I have sent photos of all the new release figures to Wayne for posting and we were also able to receive the lastest Collector magazine.
A second report on the Q&A from the Dinner will follow as soon as possible with photos from the Dinner.
Cheers Howard

It sounds like a great time to be building a big British at D Day diorama! Thanks Howard.

I think myself,Bob, Brad and a few others will also be looking forward to seeing the next ACW releases as well.:smile2:

Rob

sounds like it was interesting. Lots of questions answered and lots for everyone to look forward to
Mitch

Wonder what the Russian surprises will be??. Also am eager to see which figures will be made for the Brits on D Day, the last batch were so good and amongst the best K&C have made, if these are of the same ilk it will be a great addition. Maybe we were wrong in thinking D Day summer was over!^&cool^&cool

Rob

D-Day can run until august so plenty of releases yet. What this shows is Andy is looking at every area of conflict in WWII to bring out future sets. Looks as if nothing is off the table

Yes it runs until August, I know a few guys who were thinking D day was finished for year and my comment was light hearted.:smile2: As you say Andy is keeping all options open including it seems the Russian front, you were hoping for more Russian releases weren't you Mitch?. What would you like to see?

Rob

I was not for russians coming out per se for my own little collection but, that they should not be ruled out for any reason. Now, Iam sure a T-34 or other AFV's came out possibly in winter wash that would be a nice release. Hopefully, some brit/canadian reinforcements storming gold juno and sword beach would do nicely

Thanks fo the report Howard. Those planes look quite well done. Glad to hear about the Kittyhawk. Collectors will be ecstatic about it. Too bad about the Stukas but all in due course.

Yes indeed. Even though I don't (and can't afford to)collect Russian items a white washed T34 would really look the dogs wotsits. I have K&C's last version and she's a beauty.

And as for more Brits or Canadians pouring ashore on D Day, yes please!.I quite simply never tire of this range.^&cool

Now I know why that coffee took so long !

Howard taped the dinner talk by Andy and is no doubt working on the questions and answers from that.

Regards
Brett

Howard,

thanks for your de-brief, the images of the new stff, and thanks Wayne for posting them for us all to see.

Hey, I do love the Heliograph and Officers observing the battle, that are wonderful masters, and so I'm sure the painted ones will be brilliant, as usual.

Intersing to see the British Infantry in Palestine, looks like they are on-parade, but maybe thats 'at ease' for the Poms :) :)

Albatross will be a sure winner too, so all in all sound like a 'fine fat time' in Brisbane.

John
