Brisbane - A quick Fifteen minutes with Andy (1 Viewer)

I think myself,Bob, Brad and a few others will also be looking forward to seeing the next ACW releases as well.:smile2:

Rob

Sorry guys

Just want a quick second to reply to Rob's ACW post........wont take long....promise :smile2:

Me too Rob as I have been awfully patient-almost twelve months now since we had Buford and his boys. Quite a tantalising tit-bit from Howard (My thanks as well Howard for the update) re the masters are complete just awaiting a gap in the release schedule (Do we assume by that production is underway or complete?). What are your guesses Rob/Brad....Reb or Yank artillery.......Now wouldn't that be something.

Thanks guys

Reb

Bob,

I would guess Reb artillery. Releases tend to go on a 2 to 1 ratio Reb to Union I believe. How about an artillery team? That would be quite interesting.

Hey Bob, I'd go with Brad's artillery myself, either side would be very welcome this end, whether it was softening up Cemetery ridge or tearing gaps in Picketts Brigade, any artillery from K&C would be great to see. Mind you, some 20th Maine boys would be just as welcome!.Hope its not too long before we see some pics.

Rob

Thanks for the report NorthgateWoods. :smile2: Nice to hear that Soviets are "probable". I just had a feeling Andy would come thru for everyone who has been clamouring for more pieces from this theatre.
For me the prospect of more D-Day and Arnhem Brits is terrific news. The piece I'm most excited about is the Kittyhawk. I hope its like the existing Warbird version. I can hardly wait, that will be a piece I'll add to my collection for sure. :cool:

Now, artillery would be great. I'd prefer Union but Confiderate is okay too.

Thats to bad for the Real West I thought maybe we would see another release soon. Must not be good sales for this line.

Thanks NorthgateWoods (Howard) for an excellent job of asking the questions for us and getting us all some positive answers !!!! Sounds like the Russkies are on the drawing board after all :smile2: I will be one of the first in line to place my order for these....and Gray Tiger and hopefully the STUKA !!!! Thanks again Howard for your efforts here !!! :)

But the Russians will never sell. I couldn't resist.:wink2:

I think if the T-34 came out say one winter white wash and another in a April 45' Spring version done as a 250 series run it should be plenty to satisfy the collectors want lists and keep K&C from sitting on stock.

I think Doug was saying that tongue in cheek :smile2:

Perhaps ACN meant to say Russian influenced...like perhaps a modern Iraqi T-72{sm4}{sm4}

Thanks for the update Howard! :smile2: Please say hello to Andy for me. Hope to see you nd Andy in Chicago.

great news howard, i new andy would come thru with some russians. as for dday brits, does this mean he might retire the existing ones? if you don't have them now you better snatch some up now. can't wait for the russians. thanks

Howard thank you so much for asking about the Kittyhawk for me!!! You have made my day {sm4} {sm3} {sm4} {sm3}

Cheers Craig

Guys,
Many thanks. I hoped you enjoyed that fifteen minutes. Andy & Helen left for Sydney when I departed Brisbane for home in Melbourne, but on Sunday they arrive in Melbourne for two days of sight seeing and a small collectors dinner. I think I will get another chance^&grin for a quick fifteen mintues with Andy. So therefore if you have any more question feel free to post them on a new thread.
It was interesting reading your guess on certain lines. Some were IMO good guess, but if I told you then I would have to kill myself.^&grin
Have to go and down load the Dinner tapes and get them posted.
Cheers Howard
